And religious beliefs are not some bullshit to not believe in, it's a group of laws and advises that you should follow and that will lead you only to the best out of your life. But this still doesn't mean wearing a hijab means you are entitled to your religious opinions. There are Catholic people who are in the government or the parlement a d respect the dress code, but they're still Catholic and influenced by their religious beliefs. They just don't justify their political views by their religious beliefs. Same should be for Muslims, as long they don't explicitly show that their political views are influenced by their religious beliefs. 💔💔💔 THIS is the worst.
They claim they are supporting women's choices of dress and religious practice. The reality is the total opposite.
Everything from the French hijab ban in public if you are under 18 years old, to needing authorization for homeschooling your children, to Muslim women who cover themselves not being allowed to accompany their own children on field trips...
These bans target Muslim women specifically, for a reason.
Keep the women of that group from functioning as equals in your society. Limit their exposure and make them feel like outsiders. Take away their rights to raise their children as they see fit. Lessen the MOTHER'S influence, and ensure that the government can teach their CHILDREN how backwards and oppressive their own families are.
      It's HEARTBREAKING 💔💔💔💔

@Ira Khan Yes, that's what they think and it's so childish. My kid comes home and writes on the walls, I tell him NO. His reply is "But that kid at school was doing it! If he can do it, then I should too!"
Just because one country of a religious majority makes an unethical law, it shouldn't be justification for countries like France to discriminate against their own citizens or immigrants who share that religion
Islam is a universal religion found around the world, very few Muslims even agree with all laws in Saudi Arabia. Less than 20% of Muslims are even Middle Eastern.
But I'm also American, and US government regarding rights to religion are very different from France. I lived there for two years and will never go back.

Come on. Y'all overreacting. Clearly you're being emotional and not logical. He asked her to remove coz it felt as security threat. Leave your sh1tty religion before entering secular countries. That country has complete power to dissolute your religious freedom. Better keep that veil on in syria.

But this is the same like many Muslim and communist country's. Muslim country's lay down head covering laws, like Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, They say ALL women have to cover their hair; and none Muslim women have to abide by these laws. I am very sure that all of you Muslim women knows about these laws in these Muslim country's; and you would say yes these none Muslim women should respect the law. You don't have no problem with these Muslim country's laws for none Muslim women but when the opposite it now done to you, YOU ALL CRY "FREEDOM OF EXPRESION, FOR MY RELIGION" I think a lot of you Muslims are "HYPOCRITES"
When have any of you Muslim women spoken out publicly for none Muslim rights in these Muslims country's????? YOU DEAR NOT as you know you will get a BIG black lash from your Muslim community and family. And I don't even think any of you care for none Muslim rights in Muslim's countries.
I really want to know if any of you Muslim women publicly speak out for none Muslim women's rights????
Cause i see that this is all HYPOCRISY.
With that being said, i do not agree with laws that demand the removal of religious clothing unless it is for safety and security reasons.

      J. Müller no we don’t. My parents never asked me to wear a hijab I just slowly started doing cause I liked styling it. Ask any hijab On the street most of them will say they weren’t pressured. If you never asked at least 1000 Muslim women then you can’t say most feel pressured if you’re not a Muslim yourself. And a lot of Muslim girls don’t all were a hijab their are many who don’t think it’s the right time for them and their parents don’t force on them ( ik from others around me). So you’re “point” is invalid if you haven’t did a census on the Muslim women community. What you’re saying is to fit your narrative that Islam is oppressive ( which spoiler it’s not). You can’t call an religion oppressive if you have studied it in depth. If you did study it in depth and cake to the concussion it was oppressive then I would have more respect for you.
