It's like Aqua can read Kana's mind. He's always there when she's going on her negative spiralling thoughts. His dance was so goofy but I hope he had fun
Did you guys heard Kana said "Oshi no Ko" to Aqua on the stage? The title of this anime. It is pretty important scene, but easy to miss. "Title drop" is an important scene in these animes and manga.
Glad you mentioned she said it to aqua. I think in the manga it was more clear that it was directed to aqua bc she said “I will make you love me. I will be your star”. And in the anime she said “I will make you all love me”. Not hating on the anime, just wanted to point out the small difference
This is such a great moment, This is just a small glimpse that we see showing that Kana has more potential then all of them. She has star power, implied with her having the galaxy in her eyes and not just a star. Season 2 is going to up everything, The stakes, the love triangle, the drama, and the mystery. Cant wait!
I love the little cat fights between Kana and Akane. It's just that Akane would never win. Kana's sharp tongue is one of her strong points, don't piss her off unless u want to get dragged lol
Oh she gets her later on in the series. I won't spoil it since it will be a hilarious moment in the next season, but both Akane and Kana manage to burn each other good!. Akane can burn Kana as good as Kana can.
Aqua straight out said he doesn't think of Akane like that and he just keeping her around to use her like a tool and with Kana he says he's more comfortable being himself around her he doesn't feel like he has to be on guard around her and Ruby says that he like his old self when he's around Kana which says he foes care about her
3:52 That's actually not inaccurate. That idol's name is Mana and her chapter was cut from the anime. She's basically been an idol that's never been super popular and has slowly gotten more sidelined as she's progressed through her career. After seeing Ruby, she basically decides that this is it and quits the idol gig and is never heard on the Internet again.
I'm sick. They cut the chapter of a retiring idol, previewing the life of an average performer for us to see what the struggle may be like for the new B-Komachi. I hate it. They laid everything for the next arc so bad like, why. Dedicating a solid 7-10 minutes for it. They certainly lost a human moment with the idol industry.
@@geraalcht Honestly, I could see them placing it at the start of the next season. Reintroducing us to the show by revisiting the performance of this last episode while showing us the tough realities they may face. They might, they might not, but I think it's at least thematically a good idea.
@@geraalchtspeak for yourself. Out of all the 40 chapters that one was the most unremarkable part of the story. Good that they decided to cut it out, I was dreading them having to add it, to a finale nonetheless
@@username-ql8ox Out of all the extravaganza sh*t that happened in the show, a young girl chasing her dreams, failed at it and then proceeds to move on is remarkably a tender moment that something the majority of people can relate to. For Marketa regarding the theater, the "clue" you're looking for is that the head of the La la Lai theater company knows Ai and after she started acting in their company she is assumed to have found love so the president might know who the guy is. It isn't just theater in general but a specific theater company so that narrows it down quite a bit, especially when the info will come from the president once that meeting is set from the producer.
so, interesting factoid. the girl in the first scene who says "I'm gonna go watch her perform" had a larger role in the manga in the manga, Ruby's performance actually inspires her to retire as an Idol lol
Come to think of it, that was probably Aqua's first ever Idol concert as well. He never got to go despite his fandom as a Doctor, and this was the new B Komachi's first performance in this new life. No wonder he showed out so hard for his three sisters.
An idol anime that's up your guys' wheelhouse would be Zombieland Saga. It's got songs throughout at times pratically every episode, it's so close to a shonen because of the zombie element, and it's fairly short.
19:20 I think part of the reason it feels that way is because they weren't really established before getting a spot on a big stage like that. They basically got the spot through Kaburagi whereas other groups may have been a bit more established, so it won't feel as much of an audience interview. That being said, flopping on a stage like that could be a career ender idk, so I guess it doesn't really matter if you're established or not, since the pressure is still there no matter what.
Im gonna miss my girl AKANE 💙 I just wish that she gets a happy ending, and it also makes me sad to know that she is not gonna end up with Aqua in the end and it's gonna suck, I just know it...😔😔😔
Holy shit. How did I miss this series? I literally just watched the entire season from the first to the last straight through your reaction. Now I'm going to re-watch it "proper"
Men will literally build an entire acting career to DNA test guys until they find their father so they can kill them with their bare hands instead of going to therapy.
Although idol anime usually lead up to the performance, you just watched one of the VERY few cases where the performance has enough budget that there's no CGI noticeable on it lol.
This anime ends exactly on chapter 40 of manga, assuming the next season has 13 chapters and covers 40 chapters too, that Will leave it at chapter 80, at that point there is a Lot of info revealed, You Will feel Even more invested In the story leading towards the third season, guaranteed 💯
Ah well if they do in fact want to watch the full-on animated OP as hoped-for in the beginning, they'd really enjoy doing a one-off Reaction vid to the "YOASOBI / Idol (「アイドル」English Ver. )" music video. Plus, it'd give us one more React in the world of Oshi No Ko.
There may be some strange parts because I use Google Translate. I was born in Japan and live in Japan I am very touched to see you enjoying (sad). There may be some parts that cannot be understood accurately due to differences in language and culture. …and yet… what we all have in common… I can believe in something that exists far away from gender, race, etc.
To be fair, about Aqua and Ruby's perspectives on the trauma, Aqua figured it out. Ruby has a better opportunity to move on from it. If I just thought something tragic happened to my mom and the guy was already dead and gone versus knowing someone went out of their way to set her up to be killed? Hahaha, yeah nah. I'd want that revenge. Ignorance is bliss.
