@@primo9019 You ever hear the expression "less is more"? Dankton isn't making this song for the diss. It's not to flex. It's simply to show his grief, his loss, his thoughts. The slow beat with minimal instruments plays into the empty feeling one might have when losing someone so dear to you. We can actually see this in the lyrics (0:24) "Will I still want revenge now that you're not here?" He's lost without her, suffering through the loss alone with nobody else to comfort him. The slow verses mimic his pain and grief. The short duration of the song shows us that he either couldn't handle finishing the song, or he didn't have the energy/motivation.
There's more to rap and hip-hop than just saying words really fast or saying a lot of them, or super complex rhyme schemes.
The fact that glorb has created a whole story line out of music tracks based in the SpongeBob universe being diss tracks/gang Wars blows my mind, and now even showing this emotional masterpiece so that we are actually invested in the characters is so well done, props to you GLORB and R.I.P to karen

The cinematography in this is incredible. The parallel shots of him standing in front of his arsenal, then in front of Karen's grave in the same pose, shows the dichotomy of how his love for the thug life has led to losing the love of his life. Glorb is the prodigy of this era of music.

The fact that all of Glorb’s songs are essentially memes but have the quality of professionally produced songs is crazy. This just shows that the themes aren’t nearly as important as the quality. If Glorb decided to go professional (as in working with record companies and the such) he could genuinely be very successful. Regardless of what he decides to do with his talent, I’m just glad he’s still putting out great content.

I cannot truly explain how much respect I have for Glorb right now. Even if his music is based on SpongeBob characters, not only he has been delivering nothing but fire lately, but this song is truly something special. Glorb has mastered in this song such an amazing melancholic theme that almost made me tear up, and it’s a song about a cartoon character, that is some next level shit. I hope Glorb keeps growing to achieve what he truly deserves, this man is better at song writing than 90% of artists nowadays. I’ll always support you man! Keep it up!

looking back through the glorb discography, plankton did nothing wrong. krabs dissed first, krabs got spongebob, squidward, and even sandy to disrespect plankton, all of them dragging him AND karen. his responses were completely justified and he truly did do it all in defense of karen. when he got the patrick feature, he was trying to have a friend, something he does not have when the entire city is against him because of krabs unwarranted attacks. none of them even came to karens funeral after KILLING her. in fact, plankton COULD have killed patrick if he wanted to but ONLY brainwashed him AND let him go after treating him to KFC! and even after all that, they straight MURDERED his wife.... just wow. also, sandy dissing plankton is completely unwarranted because he was the only one NOT dissing sandy in his tracks, mr krabs & spongebob both rapped about doing various things to sandy when plankton did not and yet she was still on their side.

I honestly think this might be some kind of poetic end of sorts. If the series would have ended here as far as Danktons run in the business. As he said he did it all for her. He's not only saying goodbye to her but maybe goodbye to the lifestyle. If not just for a moment to grieve. Who knows? Maybe this is just fuel to the fire for a truly vengeful and even more overly aggresive Badass energy. It sucks because it was short but i think that in itself shows his character. He's still willing to vent out those emotions and grieve, a short "hey im not doing so great but i still made something- but ill come back one of these days i swear it"
I honestly think Dankton is gonna have something absolutely horrid in store for the Krusty Krew. All i know is that i see this as an opportunity to really make his next aggressive track pop all the heavier.
