JFM may find it easier to talk to WWX because he's a subordinate who's temperament is the same as his best friend's rather than the son who assumes the worst in him because of his mother's bitterness being projected on him(I don't like JFM for this, if he was even SLIGHTLY more confrontational then the family would have been MUCH happier, but the exact same could be said for Madam Yu so equal blame) but WWX KNOWS that his entire job and life is to protect JC. JFM allowed him to go to the Wen's Indoctrination and put himself on death's door to ensure JC's safety and the last thing JFM said to WWX, after BOTH boys had watched everything they know and love be ripped away, was for WWX to keep JC safe. I'm not saying that JFM didn't care about WWX but if he had to choose between JC and WWX he'd save JC every time without regret and WWX would support it 100% because of the mix of Madam Yu's abuse and his loved ones at Lotus Pier had created the perfect manipulation, however unintentional, to create a strong, smart and fiercely loyal 'servant' that doesn't see his own self worth enough to willingly give everything he is, has worked for and his entire future to the Jiang's and he already HAS done it by giving his golden core to JC. I understand JC but for him to not realise this and to push all his problems as WWX's fault JUST like his abusive mother did is so ANNOYING and is by FAR the reason he's one of the character's I have lukewarm affection to. I love him for who he is but I could also be happy with some bashing to his character

I love this series so much, but I am not sure if it was mentioned already but as to not get confused it was not Jin Zixuan who broke the gift, but Jin Zixuan's cousin Jin Zixun who pretty much had it out for WWX, especially when he blamed WWX for the 100 hole curse. Zixuan was trying to intervene, but was caught in the crossfire when Wen Ning's unconscious took over due to WWX's rage. Zixuan's death was 100% accident even though it worked for you know who in the end (I won't say much else on the topic) Sorry if this was mentioned in the comments before, I don't mean to repeat, I just want people to nigt get confused! Their names are similar so it can be mistaken easily.
