Very nice Bargain you got , Nice Truck. You do exactly what I do, when it breaks ,replace it with upgraded parts to make it stronger. They shouldn't Break, 👍 very nice build video bro 👍🇬🇧😍🇺🇸👍
I shoulda of watched this before doing it myself..thing has been a nightmare since purchasing a year ago..just got a kaiju and servo dead after 10 mins of run time smh..will stick to losi and arrma.lesson learned
Had fun adding upgrades. And I took it right back off! After upgrades, put wheels on. It is so wobbly. There is slop everywhere. Ended up putting original parts on one side to compare to aluminum parts side. It just doesn't seems right at all. Very disappointed. I purchased these to try and fix the issue of knuckles popping out. I think it would have been great if it wasn't for all the slop. Anyone tried just using the aluminum kunckles with original parts. I mean even the axle shaft in the aluminum knuckle has a lot of play. Glad I didn't get the whole $80 kit.
I recently did the same upgrade to my son's volcano and ended up with a massive amount of play in the axles. When sitting still the tires move back and forth about a quarter of an inch in each direction. Did you have that issue as well?
Yes! Watch closely - I think I put it in the video. I shimmed with small washers many of the pivot areas. This upgrade kit is nice...but kind of sloppy.
Rear hub pin has a notch in it.as long as set screw is tight pin will not slide out..
Correct!

Thanks for the support Tony!
Nice! I love hobby park stuff, I expected.... pretty much nothing, but I love there parts.
Ha! Yeah, we are not talking top-quality parts here, but basically what you get for a Redcat. Not really a bunch of other options out there.
Great how to video 👍
Thank you!
Would love to see more on this truck my good Sir
Thanks for the feedback!

I've heard good things about the Kaiju! Maybe it will be solid after a servo swap?
@@RoadsideRC hopefully.I havent even messed with it since.
@@Bstiffbb1986 redcat servos are shit unless you get the $35+ ones (Torque Spec and 25kg ones)
Very Nice 👌
Thank you!
Nice upgrade, i like the HobbyPark product everything i have tried works great
Awesome! They do seem to work.
Thanks for the watch!

You are right, the kit does have a lot of play in it.
I used small washers to make everything tighter.
Front needs bushes
What do you mean?
@@RoadsideRC bushings first, then the screw. Lookup where bushings go to get a better idea.!
I was surprised they put bushings in the plastic hubs. Bearings are super cheap now a days and so much better.
Me too!! I literally did a double-take!
You picked the wrong HobbyPark color....nice tutorial
Think I should have used purple? :)
What tool is that to remove the tires, and where do you get it? I can't find anything.
Hi there! Check your box - almost all rc cars come with one that looks like this: alnk.to/31rWPNb
Otherwise, I would get one of these: alnk.to/2uHFTmb
Do they make the hubs in purple?
They make the whole kit in purple!
