I am just a low rated Devo but i love having melee lobby's xD I guess the melee's on higher rating are a diff breed then.
@@glennvanrymenant3118 Honestly I love melee lobbies FAR more then caster lobbies lol. Far easier to abuse their positioning then good casters.
I time stopped a deathmark, leg sweep, xuen and serenity at 1900mmr and they just tried to kill me through it. Absolutely hilarious. I like evoker because i feel so many still dont know what it does.

@@Grimlocked yeah man absolutely i feel a lot dont rly know what the class can do. I get atleast 1 kill in the opener every match and after that they pop defensives instantly the next time.

Question, and maybe you have a tips/tricks video that I missed but how come you are spamming disintegrate instead of letting the bar totally finish casting?
Hey! So basically the way disintegrate deals damage, is disintegrate has an initial tick the very millisecond you hit the ability; so basically when you're spamming it, the second tick of it will hit at the same exact time as the reapplication disintegrates initial tick, dealing 2 ticks of disintegrates in .1 second, which can sometimes deal around 240-300k worth of damage pretty consistently, so during burst windows/kill attempts I spam out my disintegrates in hopes that the damage overwhelms people/forces extra CDs.
TLDR: Spamming disintegrate tightens the window in which it does damage, so its more damage in a tighter window = higher burst, but less sustain damage as you miss out on 2 ticks of disintegrate damage for spamming.

nice vid! But why do you keep spamming Disintegrate halfway through the first cast? why not just let it rip before casting another one?
You can snap ticks of the cast onto the next Disintegrate. There are in depth guides about it out there.
Exactly as Krizefugl said! Basically by spamming, as the disintegrate comes off global it lines up with a tick of damage from the original disintegrate - so when the second disintegrate triggers, 2 instances of damage come out in .1 second - this can do up to like 320k+ damage sometimes if both instances of damage crit - which is pretty insane levels of burst damage.
In short - spamming disintegrate for tighter higher burst windows, let disintegrate tick out for sustain damage periods like in between your big burst goes.

@@Grimlockedi have another evoker im practicing on thats close to the same il. I actually started using foot pedals for focus macros which is insane when u use it because its very fast. Anything to gain a competive edge and improve the gameplay.

@@Grimlockedyeah man im trying my best. My monk is stuck at 1800cr right now as every match is 3 casters but when i get 3 melee on my evoker i go atleast 4-2. I have another evoker thats 1880cr just for practice. Rly funny i have 2 489il evokers.😊

Hey man love the videos! Few quick questions, i am glad rogue first time playing dev in shuffles. When is the best time to use Pyre? I noticed i wasnt pressing it hardly ever, is it best when targets are grouped and i have red spell colour buff depending on spec?
Second quesiton, do people run shorter deep breath cd in shuffles, i noticed everyone not running it. Just curious if there is a specific shuffle build, i just copied some r1 builds.

First: I NEVER use pyre, it is always a better global to use disintegrate because it can proc an eternity surge and it just deals far more pressure; sadly pyre is pretty much just a dead global in PvP. The red buff we get is from Iridescence and that should be spent entirely on Living Flames
Second: I personally don't run short breath practically ever, I think it's heavily preference and also depends on what you're fighting. For me if it's a CC heavy comp (Rogue Mage, Rogue Boomy, Rogue X basically) I'll run short breath in order to avoid their set ups as well as running Time Stop so I can Time Stop the second my healer is sat in a 6 second CC. This helps a BUNCH
Outside of that I rarely ever run short CD breath, when I get paired with a DK in shuffle I'll run it, in actual 3s I'll run it if I'm playing with a DK but majority of the time I'm not playing it really. Just depends on your playstyle.
@Grimlocked man thanks so much! I knew Pyre was a waste but just wanted to be sure. Amazing advice, Currently 1400 only 20 rounds played. Had a few 6-0's but finding ret pallies who just run at me very annoying. I haven't tried time stop yet, I think this will help so much!

@@BigSalv Definitely!! If you have any other questions - feel free to ask whenever. I do HIGHLY suggest running Time Stop vs Rets. They either HOJ (Stun) you and your healer can dispel it - or they HOJ your healer and you can just Time Stop the entire duration of the stun, which basically makes the Stun useless; it feels great vs them.
Try to get your damage off SUPER early vs rets to set the pace of the game and force their bubble as soon as you can; once their bubble is forced they have to play FAR more defensively.
Still a positive win rate, getting there!
