I purchased an Ibanez EHB some time ago, I was looking for a headless instrument at a reasonable cost. Trying it after a week I immediately sold it because it didn't suit my sounds. Woody and ugly sound. This one costs half the price and is gorgeous. Lightweight, very well built. If I really wanted to make a note it would be about electronics. Let's say that with an upgrade it becomes a great bass. But 749 euros is excellent. As for the product, I purchased it from Thoman by sending an email just when the bass came out. They didn't have it in the catalog yet 😉. Thank you!
@@ballpointmusic I just received mine today and it is great out of the box. Excellent playability, very good setup, I will take it on a 5h cover gig on sunday, to see how it fares. So far, I am impressed. Nice blend of traditional and modern sound. And the low B is really good for a 34'. Well done Cort. I usually play Sandberg California TM5s on my gigs, but they start to feel a little heavy for an old guy like me... 🤣 This is way lighter and sounds and plays just as well, the Sandberg is still better in some ways, but not as much as I expected. Considering it is less than half the price of the Cali, I must say there is an argument to be made. Strongly recommend this one as an oob player. (And I play bass for over 30 years now, regular gigging, mostly in a partyband cover setup for large venues). I think, this bass would also nicely fit in any gospel or soul/rnb setting, no problemo. I might swap the electronics for a Noll or an Eastman preamp, but that is just a minro issue.
Nice demo of the Cort Space 5 , thanks a lot
Excellent playing! How are you liking the Cort so far? Incidentally, I notice that you also had the Ibanez EHB1505: how does it compare? Thanks!

@@tonysentimento thanks a lot! Very useful! I might order one, as I was indeed looking for a headless 5 and this seems to tick every box.
