DECLARATION
We know that mice do a lot of damage to our home. Especially, they spread disease among us. That is why it is so important to keep our house mouse-free.
It is not my intention to physically suffer animals. My main purpose is to keep the house free of harmful mice, mouse, and rats. And mice are not being hurt intentionally by this mouse trap here.
There are many types of mouse trap available in the market which is a bit expensive. So I have shown here how to make a low-cost DIY mouse trap at home and how to use it to keep the house mouse-free.
I am definitely against killing. I advise releasing them in a forest far away from home after catching the mice.
I hope that by watching this video of mine, you can easily make a rat trap at home. And I think the video will be very helpful to you.

If the tubes were on a hinge the trap would be re-usable without having to fetch the tubes each time. Obviously this system is working well.

Yeah, you could hinge a pvc pipe up, but it may not be as effective
The mice then have a chance to back out. The original design removes any chance of that.

Brilliant in it's simplicity
This guy says to turn the mice free in the forest to avoid killing them. Those mice won’t have long to live turned loose out there. Just saying, you’ve pretty much got no choice but to get rid of them somehow.
Yeah, mice travel very far to return to the house and then breed like crazy once they do. Or end up in someone else's house. I don't know why people bother to live trap mice in urban areas.
Water does the trick.

@@wisdomfox857Yeah. I also only do the traps outside. Less incentive to come in. In my attic in bags I put used cat litter pea balls from a friend lol. I also spray a mixture of ammonia, vinegar, and peppermint. So far so good. But Fall and Winter are coming and that’s when they really come.
It worked for me.

Wait… so mice can’t jump? Or crawl up from inside an empty bucket??
They can easily jump out of the bucket and escape. I think adding water can prevent them from jumping too high as water will dampen the fur.

Why not affix tubes permanently and then catch more mice. Also put about 4” of water in bucket so they don’t get thirsty.
