The Santo Amaro cemetery in Recife is one of the oldest in Brazil. On All Souls' Day, the most sought after grave is of a poor girl, who was raped and killed, without anyone knowing her name until today. People bring dolls and gifts to ask for help from this girl, who many consider a saint.
