The Hebrew word that is used in Isaiah 40:22 (חוּג, chug) does not at all imply a spherical earth. The root word only occurs in the Hebrew Bible once as a verb (Job 26:10). In nominal forms, the same root occurs four times, three as the noun חוּג (chug; Job 22:14, Prov 8:27, Isa 40:22), and once as the noun מְחוּגׇה (mechugah; Isa 44:13). This term refers to a "circle instrument," a device used to make a circle, what we call a compass. Isaiah 44:13 refers to this "circle instrument."
Isa 44:13 The carpenter stretches a line, marks it out with a stylus, fashions it with planes, and marks it with a compass; he makes it in human form, with human beauty, to be set up in a shrine. [NIV]
The verbal form of the word basically means "to make a circle" or "to scribe a circle."
Job 26:10 He has described a circle on the face of the waters, at the boundary between light and darkness. [NRSV]
Most modern translators agree that this "scribing a circle" in relation to the world refers to the horizon of the earth.
NIV: He marks out the horizon on the face of the waters for a boundary between light and darkness.
NLT: He created the horizon when he separated the waters; he set the boundary between day and night.
GWT: He marks the horizon on the surface of the water at the boundary where light meets dark.
So, the "circle" of Isaiah 40:22 refers to the horizon of the earth, which is very obviously perceived as a circle since it can be seen in 360º from most anywhere on earth. In Ancient Near Eastern conceptions, this circle would refer to the flat earth disk, not to a sphere.

You are correct about the usage of the word. Still the message he is passing across isn't lost. The earth is not flat (square, rectangle etc) but a circle as stated by Isaiah. The word chug has three usages and one of them is circle. That is exactly the usage by Isaiah. Not compass or compass like as in Proverbs.
So, back to square one. The bible was right way before. The earth isn't flat.

As a Bible Believer that taught science for 15yrs I agree. From the start I was attracted to science in the museums because it was studying the mind of God. Whether I'm studying biology, chemistry, or psychology I'm studying the work of a supreme Creator. I figured I'd never get bored cause I'd never run out of questions. When my brain is restored to it's original perfection, I will have eternal questions to ask my present eternal Father for the rest of my eternal life.

Sounds like you might be using religion to cope with your own future passing. Unfortunately it’s something we all have to come to terms with, whether we like it or not. Don’t waste the only time you’ll have on this earth thinking there’s more to come after, there isn’t.

Just subscribed..this type of series is one of the most important lessons, second to God's love and grace (also discipline and tests of faith)..he crammed in a lot of stuff into 3 hours..it could have very easily been extended into double, even triple that. It felt raced. I think for the people that study this it was a great recap..I wish he went more into Fibonacci sequence/God/DNA..I think the people that were new to this could have used a little more details..if you didn't know what he meant about DNA having Fibonacci sequence and each letter and the order of it has to fit together in just the right way..like pages, letters, font and hardcover falling from the sky to meet at the ground and hit each in other in just the right way that it forms a Shakespearean novel...or a 747 flying 30000 ft in the air and dropping 50000 pieces of red white and blue confetti to form an American flag in ur backyard..thats one of the major things that convinced me.. Super interesting..wish there was more but great job with time u had!

You are not supposed to understand the whole Bible because it applies to different people in different timelines through different situations, however the principles expressed in the Bible are consistent and unchanged no matter the analogy or context.

@@josephnavin4451 asking why slavery was permitted is the same as asking why sin was allowed. Slavery is among the byproducts of sin. Same as sickness, death and disease. The Bible gave instructions to help make slavery less gruesome.. especially among believers. Today we are also all still slaves of the tax system, its a silent killer. The people that cry why was slavery permitted are usually the imperfect perfectionists.

I like the content of this video. People should look into Steve Quayle, Tom Horn, Timothy Alberino and the Faull Brothers. They have done extensive research in the antidulivian times where most of the knowledge came from - mostly during the time of the Nephilim - prior to the flood. They also talk about Hollow Earth where the intradimensional beings live - that is why "hell" is below us. Most churches do not discuss this. However, learning about it fills in many many pieces to the puzzle.

2nd point, faith and science are only complimentary if faith does not try to override science, like so many creationists do, faith provides meaning to those that can't make there own, science provides facts and knowledge based off observations and experimentation, they aren't really complimentary though since one does not inform the other, they may not be rivals but they are not connected in any way, they are isolated from one another as isolated can be, and what I mean is that you can be a person of faith while also being a scientist, so long as you don't let your faith interfere with what you observe and can objectively identify what is true

One minor issue I have is with his interpretation of Elohim, that word doesn't actually translates to God(s) like many people say when they want it to be the Trinity, it very well could be the Triune God but that word itself only means supernatural, not of this world, is was like a nationality for all spiritual beings, in other words God is an Elohim, but not all Elohim are God, the Council of Angels, the Angel of the Lord, the Heavenly Hosts, the Powers & Principalities, even Demons & Ghosts are all Elohim & this is attested to in the way the word Elohim is used throughout, King Saul literally summoned the ghost of the Prophet Samuel via a medium and the medium said she "saw on of the Elohim rising up from the ground" clearly that's not talking about the Most High God or the Triune Godhead...if you want to look into this more Michael Heiser has done great research on it.

Just because we don’t know what came “before the beginning” and we don’t know how it will end doesn’t mean that the answer is this particular version of the story of the “beginning” and the “end.” There are many stories of the “why” behind those things, but that doesn’t mean that any of those stories are true. I also think that saying the earth is a “circle” would be a natural conclusion to make because as we look around ourselves in all directions, it looks circular. Also, are you saying that hell is literally the earth’s core? One last thing: you said that many good people go to hell and many bad people go to heaven. If the only deciding factor is faith like you said, then what is the real incentive for morality (as some others have said that there would be no morality without the bible/god...this doesn’t seem to line up)? No shade, just researching different viewpoints and like asking questions! Thanks

Did you know that God is also described as a consuming fire? And that one of the prime verses used to support the idea of an eternal burning…. immediately after it says that this place is meant for the righteous…? This is a fire that consumes sin. You need to learn the difference between design law and human/imperialism law. Design law will also even more align with science! Hell is not necessarily eternal burning, but just separation from God. However, the wages of sin is death, so how could they stay alive for an eternal torturing? God does not punish for sin, rather, we are born with a terminal condition, and Jesus is the remedy, which through him we receive the power to overcome it and become righteous. God does not need to punish for sin, because “you reap what you sow”.

I researched the formula for the curvature of the Earth and it doesn’t match up to people being able to see 200 miles away. So it must be kinda flat. Lol
I did the same and I came to the same conclusion. It sounds insane, but actually I wanted to find some solid facts for the spherical earth, only to see how poor these were and after researching the whole topic more I am in doubt that the earth is a ball, lol.

If you look at the original texts in Hebrew the word that is used is "chug" which translates to circle,sphere
In hebrew it's elohim meaning several God heads created the Earth

Carbon-14 becomes Nitrogen-14 when it decays, yet we have a Mososaur fossil that contains C-14 and collagen, neither of which would've lasted this long. Same goes for diamonds. 1. Any story can start with the words "in the beginning..." doesn't mean it implies any kind of esoteric knowledge.
2. He almost had me with the circle earth being suspended, until he tried to connect the super void and a denser part of space that was arbitrarily named north/south at some point.
3. Hell wasn't designed for you, but the omniscient one that made it knew you'd end up there anyway. So what's the difference? He's very charismatic and it was a decent sermon, keeping people pretty engaged and appealing to morality and people's desire to be good at the end. Music helps set the emotional tone too 🤷🏻♂️

In these verses they are referring to locusts and ect. It doesn't say they only have 4 legs it says they have 4 to walk and 2 others to use to hop and when it comes to these certain creatures it is true. For your information, "all fours" is only used for creatures that have a total of 4 legs/limbs like cats, dogs, etc. So apparently Leviticus 11:21 is saying insects have a total of 4 legs. This is another proof of the biblical error of Leviticus 11:21.
As you can see, your scripture has errors and contradictions, and therefore cannot be from a deity. Simply said, you're worshipping a figment of man's imagination. To continue being a Christian is to continue to discard logic and reasoning and adopt delusion.

You also have to take into consideration that this was written thousands of years ago, terms and sayings change as time goes by so to compare ancient terms to the ones used in the present is simply wrong so all fours may mean different in these ancient times (what I mean by this is interpretation from ancient times to present, let me explain) they're are different interpretations of the original Bible for people to understand it better so it may be completely different in the original texts so you don't need to explain what all fours means to me in present times, and yes, It's possible for it to have some errors. We don't say that it doesn't. As I just stated there are many versions of the bible for different people to understand the ancient texts and its sometimes difficult to decipher the meaning of these texts compared to the ones of now. You also need to think about the vast amount of scientific facts in the bible and discoveries that continue to prove the existence of God, I have been studying this subject for a good while now and I look at both Atheist and Christian opinion with an open mind and the evidence for God is much louder than there not being a higher power but on the the scientific facts the bible talks about the Earth being a sphere, sources of the sea which weren't discovered till 1977, life of the flesh being in the blood, needing to wash hands under running water which people did not do for a very long time (imagine the germs!), the Earth hanging upon nothing and it's free float in space, and etc I would say more but I simply do not have the time. I want to also add that recently they opened the tomb thought to be Jesus Christ's tomb and let me tell you it was difficult to get it open haha, but there was nothing inside, no bones and if you try to say that's because bones decay you're wrong to a degree, human remains can last thousands of years proven by people finding relatives of Jesus's bones in ancient boxes where they were stored.
We will never be able to truly prove or disprove God, that's why many people will lean one way or another, that's the reason why we rely on Faith, Faith is one of the main subjects we get from the bible. It's important to many people, even people who are not religious. It's always important to have it and we decide to put Faith into our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and if some don't that's their choice and its not our place to judge. We are human and need to respect each other's decisions and actions. We really don't know whether there is a higher form of life or if there's aliens or if we live in a simulation and anyone who claims to know is lying. The scientific method itself may be founded on logic, but the scientists are not infallible. Each one of them has a presupposition they use to filter available data. They are making assumptions based on their own personal biases, or adopted biases.

How is SALVATION gifted to man?
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.
📖John 3:3 says,
Jesus answered and said to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, Except a man be Born Again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
How can a man be BORN-AGAIN?
To be Born-Again in spiritual sense, is to die to our old sinful nature and be born-again in the spirit, to be holy, righteous with a new nature in Christ Jesus.
👉To be born-again, we need to repent & confess our sinful past for a holy future.
What is repentance?
👉 REPENTANCE! Everyone born into this world is a Born-sinner. Human nature is a sinful nature. Sin in us has defiled us and has separated us from the Holy God!
We have to repent for all the unholy, lawless transgressions of God’s commandments done willfully or unknowingly, in order to obtain mercy and grace so that we might not be judged and fall into condemnation, the condemnation of eternal hell.
📖 Acts.3:19 says,..✔️Repent, then, and turn to GOD, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the LORD
What is confession of sins?
👉 CONFESSION! The guilt of sin and it’s condemnation is rolled away if one truly regrets his sinful past and confesses them in the presence of Jesus Christ.
📖Romans.10:9 &10
✔️That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
📖 1 John, 1st chapter & verse 9 says..
✔️If we confess our sins, He (Jesus Christ) is faithful and just to forgive us our sins(every sin)...

I liked what you had to say, up to the point of Isaiah. You totally misused the Hebrew word chosen here. I’m Chapter 20, Isaiah used the Hebrew word for Ball, Sphere, Circle. The Hebrew word in Chapter 40 chosen was the word to describe Circuit, Disk, Compass. They are 2 totally different words. This is not something you should do. Jesus warns not to change one word, not to change one nod. Changing the word to fit your narrative is not recommended.
Key is above the Circle of the earth. People will ask where is above a globe!
But this is laid out beautifully by stating everywhere, as God, is everywhere. Thus above the circle, the Circuit of the earth, above the compass of the earth, above the Disk Milky Way of the earth, God is above it all.

He never once asked to be Called God, and he sits as the Right Hand of God. Jesus states he was there in the beginning, and that is why the words chosen thought it Genesis was “Elohim” being Plural, but not to be confused as multiple Gods. Only that God can be, what God wants to be. But that there is only One True God. Again, Jesus didn’t know the Day, only the Father in Heaven Knew the day.
