I have the B&K 1477 scope that is very similar to this one. The re are two differences; the power switch on mine is also the scale illumination control, and the trigger input on mine is binding post instead of a BNC connector. Thank you for this video.
Hi Tony, I have a trio CS1560Aii and the vertical amp is not working. Looking at the troubleshooting page in the service manual,it says to check Q123 and Q124 .These are 2sc535 which I have purchased. It also uses a RT733 metal can IC .This is no longer available. I have however been able to purchase a Dual in line 14 pin UA733. I have down loaded the data sheets but am confused which pins to hook up. Its IC 103 on the schematic diagram on board X73. The Trio schematic shows 8 pin connections. The UA733 has 14 pins but there are 4 NC. I wonder if you could advise me please given you have experience with this oscilloscope. Hello Colin, thanks for your comment, to be honest, i bought it in a batch, cleaned it and after the video i sold it as a nice starter scope. i did not play with it myself other then in the video.. i needed space and funds for new stuff :)
Great looking scope sir. Thumbs up for saving it.😁
