before the sunset bag came out i was obsessed with the pleaty but now i think i like/prefer the new version but i have to agree with you that the extra strap/hook issue on the sunset seems to be a last minute decision that was not well thought out bc i also feel like the level where the bag sits when you use the longer strap is a bit odd but ill say i love the denim color on the pleaty compared to the sunset
