Big thing here is the replacement screen NEEDS to have the programmable IC Chip pre installed. Now alot of aftermarket screens come with the solder balls pre applied so u could move the old chip from the old broken genuine screen to the new aftermarket so it would remove the message and trick the phone into thinking it was a genuine.
However, this is amazing. Just keep in mind that if the screen u are using does NOT have that chip preinstalled, you will still get the warning.
I have been fixing electronics since I was 9, AMA
Incorrect. Nothing to do with iOS18
@RUclips2021FM i didn't mention anything about ios 18? But ok, go off ig
Third parties will easily come up with a way to have them pre installed.
nah, imagine buying or using anything from apple. Just don't try to solve problems that doesn't exist. They does not exist on android devices, so why would you ask for hard, expensive work?!
How hard is it to get into soldering? Is most of the soldering people would need to do fairly complicated? Or typically easier than people think? Thanks! (I’m thinking about getting a kit and learning for future instances)
I hope you cleaned the speakers 😅
If you use not genuine part, are they gonna make it?
Yea iOS 18 will calibrate parts you install, but for us using OEMs at work. We have to create a repair ticket with Apple and then run self calibration on 18. Where before we had to use an online console to do this, Apple is making it easier for genuine repairs. Of course they won’t care for aftermarkets as not all parts are iPhone spec and just won’t work right 😆
Where did you get the genuine apple screen from?
We can make these companies change their ways if we shout loud enough for long enough, numbers make the difference!
Does the firmware upgrade color calibration work with Iphone 11 Pro max ? Nice job
Siri done her a solid there. Mine would have sabotaged me and told me it didn't know what I was asking for.
What are you using to record this video ? Is this done with the new glasses?
right to repair is great 2027 is supposed to have all phones with hot swap batteries like we had in early 2000s
For everyone thanking the EU, just remember the UK doesn't get app stores because of not being in the EU and doesn't get apple intelligence because of an EU law that wasn't changed enough to allow apple intelligence in UK law
Im so happy I never use a phone to lose time.
Hello! Do you repair broken back side of iphone 13pro as well?
