Excellent coverage of the Navigraph facility for MSFS. Perhaps its worth adding that users *might* still need the FMS Data Manager if they are using something like Little Navmap - at least I've found no means of using Navigraph with LNM through the Hub (happy to be advised if I've missed something). Thanks for your video and all the others you've posted - highly useful!
Thanks for the comment .. I just found out yesterday about lnm needing the fms data manager so yes you are right about that . I'll pin this comment for those using lnm. I was only trying to cover basics in this video for msfs, not necessarily using navigraph with other applications.
This guy is the go to place for MSFS. The advice and step by step instructions are second to none. My enjoyment of MSFS would not be the great experience I have without all the knowledge he has passed onto us via the brilliant tutorials. Many thanks for all your hard work and time given to us simmers, it is so greatly appreciated.
9/21/24 - Confirming what you said at about 3m45s, when I dloaded and installed the Charts application, it automatically dloaded and installed Simlink immediately after.
Just started with Navigraph today. You helped me start on the right track. Jumped in with the charts and did a flight ok but it was good to step back and start at the beginning. Thanks
Navigraph is a separate application so yes it should work just fine, now if you want to know if navigraph can integrate into fs2010 like it does in msfs2020 that im not to sure of. they may have some info on their website if not shoot them an email.
Hi.I followed your video on Navigraph and I am thinking of downloading it but I read it is not intergraded on the a320nx. Want to make sure before I spend the $ on it.Thx
I still.use simbrief and then import that to the chart application. If your in a small ga then maybe all you need is the charts app. But simbrief will give you all the info you need for the fmc in a larger jet .
I'm seriously considering Navigraph but I only want it for the *current* AIRAC cycle. If I only subscribe to Navigraph for a month, I'm curious if the AIRAC cycle reverts to some old data after my subscription ends.
@@FGV_Gravity I actually paid for the regular subscription, so everything is constantly up to date. I was hesitant at first but now that I use it regularly, it is well worth it. I can honestly say that if you fly online regularly and require up-to-date charts, it is well worth every penny. Cheers.
yes i think you can do a month to month to try it but the yearly plan will save you money . i feel its worth the money for all the updated charts and airac cycles for msfs . if you use charts a lot you will love it . and the integration into the g1000 and g3000/5000
So if I paid for the month to month subscribe for Xbox and when using the simbrief app for flight planning. My question is will the airacs be updated or no
@user-gw8tg1xf7d if you are talking about a month to month navigraph subscription. And have downloaded the app on a device it should update automatically. Simbrief does not load sids or stars so there is nothing to update on simbrief I don't think .
Yeah I think that is for a year of service . It's not for everyone . If you just like to fly around and not care about charts and things like that then it's not worth it for you. But if you are trying to learn aviation and get into learning to fly and navigation then it is worth it.

Will this Navigraph work for FS 2010 and earlier versions? Will Navigraph update the waypoints and fixes?

Ok I'll check
Yes navigraph integrates fine in the a32nx flyby wire. All on the efb.
@@2020fsers oh ok and I can use it on a separate iPad as well?
And if you order before midnight tonight, you’ll get a slicer dicer absolutely free!
But wait there's more 🤣
I'm new to subscribed navigraph, but I'm confused as to whether I plan flight with it or simbrief. Or do I need simbrief at all now?

Do I need to pay for navigraph
Yes, it is a paid subscription
well use little navmap is free
you have to pay right?
Yes this is a pay app.
you poor like me, use little navmap is free
in the comparative version today there is no choice of light or dark map
Yes there is it's now under the map overlay option on the map top left of map.
Does it work for Xbox?
Unfortunately, no navigraph does not work for Xbox.

@@2020fsers can this be updated via mobile app or do you need a computer with the sim installed ? Cause I only have Xbox is my issue
