I have done the camino frances in summer 2021, nice to see your video for remembering. I can not forget the way it will be forever in my mind.
Buen camino for all your ways.

We started in SJPD on August 27 and finished in Santiago 10/03. Which includes several rest/sightseeing days along the way. We averaged about 13 miles a day I believe

Loved the video. I am interested to know how much Christy's pack weighed, in SJPP the road was wet was it also slippery? The route to Roncesvalles was wet was that also slippery? When did you start your Camino, how long did you take to get to SdC? Thanks

Christy’s pack weighed about 13-15 lbs total weight. Lite AF pack, Patagonia merino wool shirts and shorts and rain coat. The first few days were storming including the hike over the Pyrenees.

Interested to know why Orrisson came before Borda, was it a mitsake or did you go to Orrisson for lunch and then back down to Borda? Nice video, reminds me of 2018 when we walked, no Borda then lol

Orrisson for lunch, Borda is past orrisson less than 3 k. Borda is a great place to stay, I didn’t stay at Orrisson so I can’t compare. The host at Borda is super friendly and I like the individual beds with the curtains so you have your own space. Thanks for watching and commenting

@@tomandchristyadventures1344 Ah I didn’t realise it was after, that is useful information for our next Camino in the next few years.

Thanks so much. I love your description and video. I am planning on walking in 2 years for my 70’th. I was worried about the walk over the Pyrenees but you helped me realize I could break it up. Please continue to post with lots of details and advice. Safe trip. Buen Camino

Good video! What was the Date? it looked very non-crowded. I'm planning my Camino for 2025 and still have to decide on what time of the year works best. Thanks
