Love my GOPRO but changing out batteries is a PAIN. The Gopro Volta, is incredible! Just what I've been wanting. BUT IT'S DEFECTIVE
I use my Hero 9 GoPro to make my videos with the Volta for about 4 kayak fishing trips.
After the first trip it refused to charge, so I had to reset it. Many have had this issue since it was introduced. After the second trip, I had to reset it again to get it to charge. Then on this 4th trip, the quick release buckle broke which is not uncommon. I went to change it out and the pop up mounting tabs would not pop up again.
Gopro has agreed to replace it but not without a LOT of back and forth and quite a bit of hoops to jump through. They wanted several pics of the unit, pics of serial number AND a video showing me pushing the button that is supposed to pop up the tabs.
PLUS - no mention of if they have resolved the ongoing failure to charge without having to reset it most every time
