I personally think she is the most inspiring gymnast of all time. To think of how much she improved in a year and top it off with that great performance at the Olympics to achieve the gold medal and become Olympic champion! Inspirational

That really brought tears to my eyes watching this inspirational RUclips video of GABBY DOUGLAS from overcoming obstacles, Racial barriers in an All White dominant sport such as Gymnastics to making History of becoming the First African American woman to win 🏆 a Gold Medal in the Women's Olympic Gymnastic All-around individual competition at the 2012 London Summer Olympic Games with an Electrifying performance on All of the Gymnastics Apparatus. GABBY DOUGLAS is Truly one of the GREATEST Olympic Champions 🏆 of All time.
My Opinion Is That Gabriel Douglas Is One Of The Greatest and Humble Gymnast In the World! She's Often Been Maligned For Not Having A Brighter Spotlight In the Wake Of The Pedophile doctor and the Ranch and National Team Multiple Scandals and Its Disgraced Major Players. But All That Aside, Gabby Is A God-fearing Christian Black Woman Gymnast Who Was the #FIRSTToWinTheAllAroundGymnastGoldMedal And No One, Not Simone, Not Ali, Not Dominique Dawes Can Claim They Were the #FIRST. I Pray Daily That Gabby Continue Being Blessed By GOD In Everything She DREAMS! #WeLoveAndRespectYouGABBY
Ok.... I JUST realized that she changed her dismount from a full-in to a double layout on bars...... oups. (Well, I did know that she did a DLO, but I forgot she used to do a full-in)
Komova lost by 0.259, that's over a quarter of a point, so it wasn't one of those razor-thin margins (like when Wieber beat Komova by 0.033 at 2011 World's, or when Memmel beat Liukin by 0.001 at 2005 World's). Gabby made no major errors, had higher level of difficulty in both beam and floor, and mentally stronger in that she fought for her landing on vault, while Komova did not. Gabby deserved to win, and Komova has not disputed the scoring.
