What's spineless about being the first country in EU to recognize Gaza as a country..... leave those negative comments for governments that are "Actually Spineless" please, those comments cause misdirected hate
They're still blocking the Occupied Territories bill (since 2018); they haven't sanctioned Israel in any way; they still allow America to service Israel via Shannon, they haven't yet joined the SA case, merely filed a notice of intent. All empty virtue signalling and pandering because they know the Irish PEOPLE are behind Palestine, and they want to get re-elected. Don't be fooled: FFG don't care about Gaza; they're just putting on a show for voters.
Watched the piece about Guinness, subscribed after the DS9 video. I am from a country that is ruthlessly pro gen_ocide. I am happy to see that people elsewhere can have it some other way.
In the 1930s thousands of Irish took to the streets protesting against the very existence of Jazz music. It seems mass hysteria comes around every hundred years or so. What will those of us with too much time on our hands be protesting about in another hundred years
Thank you for this! I wish more RUclips personalities would use their platform to shed light on one of the worst atrocities being live streamed to our phones.
I was afraid to click the video and lose respect for one of my favorite RUclipsrs, because I have zero tolerance for neutrality in this matter. Instead I'm subscribed for life now, even if you switch to instant coffee! Thanks
Are you of Irish origin or living there now? My Grandparents were from outside Dublin, Im an O”Reilly and born on St Patricks day! Sadly Im English and have nothing to be proud of about that in many years.
What does this have to do with Islam? Muslim Palestinians aren't the ones committing genocide, slaughtering tens of thousands of innocent civilians. Nothing they have ever done could possibly justify that.
I almost made it into a Wired Gourmet video! I've always loved the coffee content, but seeing him take a stand for justice and raise awareness about the Palestianian struggle truly elevates my respect for him. Keep inspiring!
It’s really no surprise, with the history of transplantation / plantation in Ireland. Another similarity is appropriation of legitimate cultural memory and the struggle for civil rights by bad actors.
Really Thomas you do talk a lot of nonsense- dip the bullets etc! Your over the top language re govt doesn't serve the palestinian cause we'll. There is a strong enough cause for palestine without your excessive aggressive american style approach- sounds like the trump school of debate! Don,t think I can bear to listen to you on Brexit despite being anti brexit.
Glad you enjoyed it. I clicked on one of your subs and learned something new: pickled green tomatoes. I've done lemons and limes like that but not tomatoes. Hope those folks are OK.
@@wiredgourmet I think knowing the context of your lived experience would benefit our appreciation, as your audience, of what you are communicating. I’m sorry if I’ve offended you.
Like others mentioned, I normally see the notification for a new video and my pavlovian response gets me ready for coffee… What an interesting and welcome side project highlighting the troubles that span generations. I also appreciate the Irish people for recognizing the parallels between Ireland & England so they can empathize with the Palestinians.
Thomas, I have friends and family that live in Israel- even proud Arab Israelis and you are so thoroughly duped on this topic it’s clear you’ve been exposed to nothing but one sided propaganda and hate. This video is extremely disappointing and quite frankly it’s disgusting. You’re clearly an eloquent and well spoken person and so I was really hoping for better here. Unsubscribed.

The Irish don't have a Guilty Complex.
Palestinians have the Legal right to resist an illegal occupation.

Any chance you're inviting Palestinians to your country. That is so beautiful. Let us know in a year or two how Palestinians are doing in Ireland. 😂

They should be more concerned with the invasion of their own country
Immigration isn't invasion. Were the Irish committing an "invasion" of their host countries when they sought refuge in diaspora? Stop bullshitting.

Get an Irish passport easy enough if you've not got one and then you can hop skip and jump to Ireland .
Either they know nothing about life under Islam makes them ignorant or they do and still support it What does that make them

Complete ignorance
The Irish people know and understand apartheid and facism they have lived through English colonialism and fought them for a long period
