Josh Brolin was in this and No Country for Old Men in the same year, 2007. I saw both of 'em at the theater. And I was 27. I wish I still was. But both are great movies. Usually, villains are more entertaining, but I like his performance in no country a little better.
3:59 Director Todd Phillips wanted these stairs for “Joker” but they were renovated after this movie looked to nice so they found a different set of stairs that became iconic.

This was a great movie I can rewatch any day. It stretches the truth out like an adult entertainment movie which makes it that more impressive. Frank Lucas was not a suave charismatic guy like Denzel. He was an avg street dude with a cousin who hooked him up.
I guess he did what Sal Bompensiero wanted to do, except didn't join the FBI. He also managed to travel back in time, which i think is the greater achievement.

I love how Richie feigned weakness and clumsiness here. He was not scared at all of those four and could probably take them. But he put aside his ego because the dude was disciplined when it came to work.

I think you mean the R17s since the refurbished red birds didn't came until late 80s and early 90s but however they could atleast use the now retired red birds and paint them in silver blue paint scheme with graffiti like in the show the get down.

Actually, this is indicative of the true mentality of an apex predator. Those near the top of a given hierarchy don't expend as much effort on situational awareness because, simply put, they assume that there are few threats to their existence. Brolin's character didn't notice he was being followed because he simply didn't care one way or another. In his world, it couldn't conceivably pose a threat to him regardless.

Life is a lot more chaotic than it seems. This was the 70's, you don't have air support, you don't have crazy means of tailing anyone. Meanwhile these guys have to walk through cities all day, which means they're brushing by thousands of people. When you're hunting someone, all you see is them and you. When someone is tailing you, you have to spot them within 1000 people you saw that day. If you ever walk down a road in New York City, you're gonna brush by so many people it's astounding. It always feels lewd tailing someone, but they almost never notice because they're thinking about their day. Try it sometime with someone you know. A friend of mine in school liked to practice tailing, so he'd tail me around. I'd sneak up on him. You never see it coming, you're not walking around itching, worrying about who might be watching you. If someone is watching you, the best thing you can do is keep doing what you're doing anyway and try to find a different angle. If you recognized someone you saw 10 minutes ago, what are you going to do? Bowl them over? Gotta just ride it out. ... and most people won't notice, even if you're obvious, especially when you're in NYC and have to watch out for all kinds of stuff. Human focus is a lot less apt than people realize. I used to walk up on my friend and walk right next to him, I'd fake smoking and shuffle into him. He didn't even realize it for a good while because I changed my posture, my attitude, and was very brusque. I just wanted to see how long it took him as long as I didn't look him in the eye. It took him a good 20 seconds just to walk forward and look back, especially if I had a different coat or sunglasses. People are not as observant as you'd think.
Russell's films are impressive to me. Because of his talent, he plays a role as a role model. Director should ask him to act like a lot of methods. He go straight to the point. He has good sense of expression. Hollywood colleagues would like to do work with him.

Well, the dealer can run, but he'll likely get caught, arrested, and charged with intent to distribute ounces, if not kilos of heroin. That's some serious fuckin time, like 20-50 years. Since they got him on tape agreeing to the deal, he'll likely play ball and they'll probably get further in their investigation.

It's bullsh*t though. He didn't import the drugs. He got his drugs from a seargent "Ike" in the army. He imported the drugs and sold it to Lucas, who was one of many dealers Ike sold it to. Lucas snitched on Ike I believe but I'm not 100% sure about that.
The biggest trafficker of drugs in the US is the United States Army
