Great game for the Caracciolo. Both teams made some choices that could have been better. If either CV had moved up with their team that would have given them a good chance of taking the cap. The AA from the CV plus another ship will make it very hard for a T6 CV to sustain attacks. Secondly the Maas screwed up attacking the Ark Royal like that. It is very hard for a mid tier DD to take out a CV one-on-one in a tail chase. He can't torpedo the CV from that position, he can only get a couple of guns on him, and he only has a net 5 or so knot speed advantage over the CV from that angle so he is going to struggle to get closer quickly. He exposed himself in a position where he couldn't do much damage to the CV and couldn't get away. Mid tier DDs in particular have to get in front of the CV so it can't avoid torpedoes and can't use its speed to slow the closure rate.
Jingles; even if ASFDestroyer had died, his team would still have won. Their aggression for spending all that time in the enemy cap circle denied them points for quite a period (earning a +2 per 6 second buffer).

Finally he got an angle and dropped a bomb that hit and left me at 200 HP. One freaking plane in my AA range for 30 sec not only didn't die but got a direct hit.
In a standard battle, you do get points from the caps. (Notice the points score ticking up by 2 points every few seconds.) But if the enemy is in your cap, you don't get points for it. So, even if no ships died in a standard battle, and it went the full 20 minutes, if one team spent a little time capping and the other didn't, that team would win.
Using mini map to aim is the way it should be for ships spotted that you don't see yourself. The spotting info in this game is better than they can provide even with today's technology.

I like and comment so that almighty youtube considers this engagement.
In-game comment at 18:14: "This one is for Jingles."
Using mini map to aim is the way it should be for ships spotted that you don't see yourself. The spotting info in this game is better than they can provide even with today's technology.
Jingles: *Complains about one squadron of aircraft getting through one single ship's AA screen to attack it*
Sailors of the Bismarck watching Swordfish Torpedo Bombers get through their AA and dropping ordinance on them: So overpowered and unrealistic, isn't it?
Sailors of the Lexington, Kaga, Hiryu, Soryu, Akagi, and Yorktown watching bombers getting through their fleet's defensive AA screens and CAP to attack them: So unrealistic indeed.
Jingles moments have occurred on multiple occasions today regarding whether or not some shells did penetrations or overpens :))))))
A great video to wake up to in the morning :)
1:11 here is a button for "that full-on authentic Italian experience"
Jingles not only used the hand gesture, but also the eyebrows!
Honestly I'm just patiently waiting for the Vampire 1 event to re-run or for the Vampire 1 to go on sale as a tier 3 premium Commonwealth starter DD much like the Campletown for the Royal Navy Line
1:15...one of the most terrifying moments in my RUclips viewing career
“You miss 100% of the shots you don't take" - Wayne Gretzky - Michael Scott - The Mighty Jingles
Ooo a jingles video
👍😎👍 Thank you for your stories.
belissima belissima jingles ....
"I like to at least try and pronounce things correctly" unless its french - Jingles, probaby
Romance languages come out better when one is smiling. Spanish and Italian, particularly.
Two spies one American and one Italian are captured by the Soviets and get tortured for information about their plans. The American spy holds out a couple hours then he returns to the cell bloody and sad." I told them everything" he says to the Italian. Then comes the turn for the Italian spy. He is returned to the cell 24 hours later battered and bloody. The American congratulates him for holding. The Italian says bitterly:" I wanted to talk as soon as they started hitting me but they didn't untie my hands"! Some Italian auto-hirony, we take our hand gestures seriously here!
Good Jingles, but you need both hands to get full effect? Typical British understatement at work
Gott'a give the SINOP credit for trying: it's rough when you're focused by a capable CV.
The Sinop's misplay was sitting in the cap for five minutes letting the carrier use them as a pinata instead of just going after the carrier to start
I'm actually on the "Hit fast" campain, t8 - T10 only. The few times i played the FC i liked it enough, but i hate have less range than all other BBs.
1:14 jingles that's not how you talk in Italian. You have to put all your fingers together and wave the hand like a chef would
as always great job!
I'm proud you try to fix pronunciation :D Today Italian ships, tomorrow Błyskawica (/bwiskuvitsu/ u las in word "up" in case you need instructions) The day after that, abolition of using Dave... Ahh who am I kidding XD
1:12 I was just thinking how it would sound If you put more ‘style’ into the name. Was not disappointed!
you're not doing the hand right! memes jingles, memes!
Thanks Jingles.
Every Jingles video I look for the person who was featured and it always seems like if they did comment, it is always the third comment, and this trend continues.
Italians: There is a reason it is said that an Italian born with one arm shorter than the other is speech impaired.
Oh boy here he goes casting again
I'm waiting for jingles to butcher the name silihwangi if he ever feature the ship
My guess is that he won't do a video with it just because of that.
The Overlord has shown his face. The last time that happened he gave us the finger and played WoT. Guess the only difference is that this time it’s in Italian

I gesti delle mani sono un buon inizio, ora più energia nella voce ... è un bel linguaggio.
Jingles, the WoWs equivalent of F1's Murray Walker.
the 90mm guns are antiair like the famos gearman 88 was a ship born antie air gun first and the italaiens used the 90 mm on land and on a TD in the M41m da 90/53
