I gemerally agree with gender roles. BUT, in an ideal world, wouldn't it be useful if both partners could cover each other if necessary? E.g. both CAN pay the bills, both CAN cook? For me as a man, I pride myself on being complete. Could never be one of those guys that relies on a woman to cook. Similarly, I wouldn't want a woman who relies on me to pay for everything.
