Appreciate the shout-out, goat. I am incredibly lucky that I've had a group of friends to fall back on since Kindergarten. It started with like 3 of us and has expanded to maybe 10 or so people and I feel very close with all of them lol. It's also really nice bc I think the community that we provide each other prevents us from falling into some of the toxic rabbit holes that many young men decide to fall into lol. I think that, as I reflect on some of the relationships I handled poorly when I was in high school, it's nice to know that I have connections that I can't really lose at this point and those connections are a positive force in my life.
I’m so glad you have that group of people around you! It sounds amazing to have a tight group that you can rely on and relate to, especially cause it gets harder and harder to make friends as you get older
@nessvu It's true that it gets harder to make friends as you get older, but I some times wonder if telling ourselves that is the wrong mindset. At least for me, it makes it kind of creates an anxiety around trying to and demotivates me. I think, if you're an adult and you really want to meet new people, it might be difficult as it always is but you can definitely do it if you put enough energy and effort into it.
I am grateful for your gratitude
Thank you 😇
