I agree, but the sad thing is, that "gothic fashion" has already been commercialized. But are you saying, that everyone who dresses obviously gothlike is just looking for attention? If so, I think thats not true. Sure, there are many kids who think it's so cool to be all black and scary. But I am pretty sure too, that there are also many people who just LOVE the dark fashion itself, and that they're doing it for themselves, not to get attention.

Even my parents thought I was going to kill myself if become a goth, they couldnt understand. They think this music is kind of... against to god or something like that just because it´s on another language. And the image that people has about us is that we are depressed all the time and that we find the closest way to get out of the supposed damn life we have, they have to search out for more information before they judge us. Do you agree me?

goths are just meant to be missundetstood and despised. It is kinda what created the subculture

Goths are amazing people, i dont see why people have a problem with them just because of the way they are and want to be, i find them so fasinating and I love music like this

There is a difference between ''Goth'' and ''Gothic''
''Goth'' refers to the Goth rock music scene.
''Gothic'' refers to architecture, art, literature, etc.
sadness brings out your musical and poetic side. Being goth (like i am, and like so many others are) isn't a bad thing. Stereotypists can say what they like. but we are who we are and we can't change for others. We shall always be ourselves.

Idk what it is about this song but it is amazing. I'm not a goth but I can understand some of their ways. But when I listen to this song it brings back to the world and realize what I am here for. It isn't sad or depressing to me it brings me up when I'm down. Is that bad?
frohawk94 it pretty much is releasing whatever upsets you. Like you don’t repress anything when you listen to it so you feel lifted. You feel better. Like all the heavy things in life that bother you are just off your chest now. It makes me feel better too!

@bloodymarry667 it makes perfect sense.often times the people who are actually got or emo don't look it,it's on the inside.the ones who dress the part are just looking for attention.meanwhile there are people who suffer from depression every day who have to deal with it because instead of helping them,everyone is paying attention to the dressed up people.

I don't see why you people need to use the ''goth'' label. Just call it beautiful, atmospheric dark music. Just because it's dark and nostalgic does not make it Goth. Goth is Alien Sex Fiend, Bauhaus for example.

My mother was origionaly against me being a goth. she still is to a certain extent. so far howeve though ive had people confuse gothic with emo and satanist. i mean what people??? so what i wear black like dark music prefer a cool,dark misty night to bright sunny day and like to go for walks through graveyards it dosnt make me evil or an emo-i can still be fun and i actualy worship chaos. got to go now-lesson soon.

im a goth n WAT?! lol .. acctually only on the inside.. i do dress up as goth 50% of the time, but i have sucha dark side, n listenin to dark songs n watchin scary movies makes me feel like home.. idk y? its weird, but it makes me feel so rite.. am i weird or every goth has that feeling?

@Spyder057 i do believe every goth feels that. i consider myself goth because i seem like the only one at school who thinks horrible dark things. i don't have any goth clothes but i feel that i am cause i love the darkness. scary movies makes me feel secure same with music. if this isn't normal, i guess if i'm not a normal goth, we're all wierd.... do you understand where i'm going at?
@bloodymarry667 Yeah it does make sense what you have said. But I don't think a lot of goths wear dark clothing for attention. Maybe some do, but they would be a minority. Most goths wear dark clothing because, as iwo said, they like to wear that type of clothing. I dress for the most part in black clothing and am certainly not out to get attention. I just like wear it.
I hate the way people seems to think all Gothic people are those weird people. I love goth and love rainy days, the way those raindrops hit your window and slide down like the tears of heaven. And the sky before a thunderstorm. Gives me a feeling of a bird trapped in an unbreakable and an inescapable cage. Agree?
When people wear make up i think it is that, everyone wears something different because what changes us is the darkness in the hearts of our loved ones slowly hurt us and we wear something to signify that theres a change and they are not realizing the hurt thats behind it. like i always say, " A man can write a thousand words but the picture is only half painted."
gothic has no satanic similarities, the real definition of gothic is the gothic architecture not black clothes or dark make-up, black is not bad nor evil it's just a color or a style so please stop saying gothic is something similar to Satan it's just stupid okay?

I like rainy days/nights only because I rememeber being outside and dancing with my friends/family. Beauty is found in some of the darkest places. Some of the lightest as-well...I wish more people where open minded to 'Goth' or 'Emo' people. But I bet it's just as hard to be a 'Prep'.... But I sometimes think otherwise, maybe I'm wrong, I'm not sure. Lol. Anyway, amazing music, beautiful lyrics...Love it.
