you should do the windas procedure on your G500! it can lower the black level back to normal, I own 3 of these monitors and it fixed them all on some parts of the video you can see that black looks very grey, windas will fix that
Yeah you are right, this one has a voltage problem. I plan to use it when I do Windas before I do my FW900s 😅 This one also has scratches sadly but I have another one of them who is still in great condition and only has the black problem
Thanks 😊 and sadly this is the only Card that does this, that I have drivers for. I mean I have more cards and I also have drivers for them but none of these supports more Hz under pure DOS. All they do is give you 85Hz for VESA Mode games and so on. The Text Mode stays at 70Hz then
Thanks! Well it's interesting that no other manufacturers addressed this, since you would do many things in the textmode, far back then. Maybe people weren't that sensitive to the flicker 😉.
Hello, I have the exact same monitor, the problem is that one day the monitor turned to green and on the interface I can see all the color except Blue, it is missing, do you have any Idea how to fix that ? Thank you ^^

Very interesting, thank you for this video! Do you maybe know other cards that have drivers like this, for DOS?

@@djdano2k yeah I think it was not thought about it so much. Also 70Hz is still ok for most. 60Hz is what hurts most eyes
Brother do you have a discord page so we can share information about CRT 😊
Yeah we have a discord community. I forgot to add it here! There is a link on my channel at a post or on the last video also
Aaa the link don't go anywhere can you send me a new link@@RetroGamingBase

Good. 🙂 But... you may get too fast for few games, if you are running at 75Hz or higher: Grand Prix 2 (racing F1)... 😉
You can always deactivate the high hz mode and play with normal 70Hz 👍🍻
@@RetroGamingBase ok. Ok. 640x480@60Hz for some games as GP2, Indycar 2, Nascar... 😅🙂
Pleas can you make a Video about crt, kHz MHz Front porch Front porch Sync width Back porch
overclocking
Monitor - 100Hz
Wing Commander - 24 fps
Master Card - kein Geld
Haha yeah! And in DOS you need the more Hz mainly to make it flicker free and relaxing to your eyes. It’s not about the FPS like in modern Games
Hi I would like to join your discord but the link is broken
Ack ok! It should be fixed now 😀
@@RetroGamingBase Worked, thanks!
