Hi Luke, I took the test without any preparations and l got 120 , however that was not enough for my admission at university. I needed 125, went through your videos from morning till 3 pm as l had my exam the same day , and l got 140. Your channel is helpful and lm glad l made it. Thank you

Also, I practiced more on speaking part which you will describe the picture and how you will emphasize it. Also, I focused more on my vocabularies so that I will not repeat the words that I am using in each sentence.

Hello Teacher Luke, I studied from your videos for 3 days and today my results are out. 130 overall with 130 in Literacy and Conversation, 140 in Comprehension and 115 in production. I didn't practice that much for production and I stuttered a little while speaking. Still these scores are consistent with my TOEFL iBT score of 107 ( Reading and Listening - 28, Speaking 26, Writing 25) which expired in August. Overall I got the required score. My issues are in production and conversation however after i watched this video, i tried another two samples and the score was 120-140 so, i can conclude that you really helped me. Hi Teacher Luke! I got my result today, and it surprised me with 125. I watched you videos for few days, which really helped me to polish my skills towards the exam day. Thank you so much for teaching us for free. Keep doing it. I have few suggestions for those who are planning to take this exam soon: 1. For exam try to keep your laptop volume 85-90 % , as full 100% volume will shatter the voice and you would not be able to listen them clearly. This was my biggest mistake, that I realized during exam. ( Before exam, adjust the volume because during exam you would not be able to change it, your result can not be certified if you leave the window!!!) 2. Must enhance you typing speed. Daily practice on; www.typing.com. It will help you a lot. It really helped me. 3. Do not panic at any stage of exam, just keep doing it and be confident till the end e.g; My listening topic was, Talk about Carbon Footprints? How can we decrease it? I was not sure what to talk about, but I was just going on and on about environmental polution, which I believe was better than nothing. 4. The more you perform well, the difficulty level will increase, so be happy if your tasks are getting difficult.🙂 5. Try to have brief knowledge about following things, and be ready to face these topics; Your favourite book, movie, personality, place, pet, plant. You should also have little bit knowledge of latest technologies ( computers, internet, smartphones), environmental issues, economic issues, gardening. In the end, I would say, your confidence matters a lot. Be confident in the whole exam and trust me, you will get great scores. Thanks

I did pretty much follow same structure as your example and tried to use different words and examples. Regardless, I appreciate all your effort and help here in RUclips! "I am a big fan of American movies, and I have found a chance to learn a lot about American culture from watching its films. One of the most interesting things that I have learned is about American eating customs. When people feel hungry in America, there are plenty amount of drive-through restaurants, which offer any type of meal and drink. Buying food from a drive-through restaurant means people don't have to stand on a food line and leave their car, which is where people usually feel comfortable. Furthermore, I gained confidence about being able to use the English language. This is so true that we can acquaint a lot about another country, one of my biggest dream is to travel he world. however, due to the lack of money I can't at the moment therefore I merely watch movies whenever I want to learn about the specific country. lately, I have learnt about the new York City and the lifestyle of the people living there pretty hectic, that people don't even got time to breakfast they just take it in their hands and eat on their way to work despite that I would love to live in a new York for a quite some time, because the streets, dine and shop, brooklyn Bridge and for the Broadway shows.
In my opinion the reason now a days people are living longer is due to their awareness of creating a better lifestyle and secondly their mental state. Living longer depends on these two things. A patently now we see that older people are more anthusiastic for living their lives than the younger one's.

Thanks a lot teacher Luke, I've try the Duolingo test twice and unfortunately i failed. I must reach 110 to get the acceptance of the university but i reached 100. My issues are in production and conversation however after i watched this video, i tried another two samples and the score was 120-140 so, i can conclude that you really helped me. As soon as i try the test again, I'll inform you. Probably you gonna find some mistakes here kkkkkk

I got my result today, and it surprised me with 125. I watched you videos for few days, which really helped me to polish my skills towards the exam day.
Thank you so much for teaching us for free. Keep doing it.
I have few suggestions for those who are planning to take this exam soon:
1. For exam try to keep your laptop volume 85-90 % , as full 100% volume will shatter the voice and you would not be able to listen them clearly. This was my biggest mistake, that I realized during exam. ( Before exam, adjust the volume because during exam you would not be able to change it, your result can not be certified if you leave the window!!!)
2. Must enhance you typing speed. Daily practice on; www.typing.com. It will help you a lot. It really helped me.
3. Do not panic at any stage of exam, just keep doing it and be confident till the end e.g; My listening topic was, Talk about Carbon Footprints? How can we decrease it?
I was not sure what to talk about, but I was just going on and on about environmental polution, which I believe was better than nothing.
4. The more you perform well, the difficulty level will increase, so be happy if your tasks are getting difficult.🙂
5. Try to have brief knowledge about following things, and be ready to face these topics;
Your favourite book, movie, personality, place, pet, plant.
You should also have little bit knowledge of latest technologies ( computers, internet, smartphones), environmental issues, economic issues, gardening.
In the end, I would say, your confidence matters a lot. Be confident in the whole exam and trust me, you will get great scores.

"I am a big fan of American movies, and I have found a chance to learn a lot about American culture
from watching its films. One of the most interesting things that I have learned is about American eating
customs. When people feel hungry in America, there are plenty amount of drive-through restaurants,
which offer any type of meal and drink. Buying food from a drive-through restaurant means people don't
have to stand on a food line and leave their car, which is where people usually feel comfortable.
Furthermore, I gained confidence about being able to use the English language. I watch most of the

This is so true that we can acquaint a lot about another country, one of my biggest dream is to travel he world. however, due to the lack of money I can't at the moment therefore I merely watch movies whenever I want to learn about the specific country. lately, I have learnt about the new York City and the lifestyle of the people living there pretty hectic, that people don't even got time to breakfast they just take it in their hands and eat on their way to work despite that I would love to live in a new York for a quite some time, because the streets, dine and shop, brooklyn Bridge and for the Broadway shows.
