Since Border 2 is being remade (allegedly) and if the makers are looking for a story. I think there is plenty to get from our Army. What I personally would love to see is a movie made about our Soldiers who are never given credit for their Valor. There are our soldiers who fought against rebels in the most dangerous parts of Africa under the UN. I have heard stories where soldiers from other nations couldn't stand against those rebels but our Jawans fought them and won. Indian Army is a big name in UN missions. JAI HIND.

Border worked because you had a Sardar character played by a proper village style punjabi speaking Sardar in Sunny Deol. No other bollywood actor could have pulled it off that well. Puneet Issar too played a punjabi speaking village sardar very well despite not being from that background. He had the right mix of earthiness, playfulness, large heartedness, warmth and aggression of a jatt sikh.
Its your thinking Film's Success was a collective effort like Dharmbeer from Haryana , Suniel Sheety from rajasthan, he played sardar in other fims but failed
