    That sounds loud now...just imagine how loud that must have been back in the day when there were (by comparison) hardly any motorized vehicles at all! The world was much quieter, so this must have been an utter monster! Very cool!

    Why the fire from exhaust slow in time maybe firing when exhaust valve is parcel opening

      Very rich fuel mixture. Fuel is still burning in the exhaust system. Like when WWII aircraft take off and land. "Full rich mixture".
