Hi I believe the spoon to be by John Millington of London & date letter for G London 1722. It is a double drop to the back of the bowl and not rattail . Hope this helps
Hi correct after researching it's John millington definitely correct hallmark 😊 he was only in operation for around 4 years according to silver makers marks website. I've found a similar example described on a website saying dated 1722 possible John millington as Hallmark is worn asking 230 for it so I'm unsure what ours is worth but is nice condition and readable hallmarks. JM is crisp . Any advice welcome.
@@sam7687-i9b Hi John Millington ran from 1718 to at least 1730 and had 3 different variations of his makers mark . Unfortunately I have seen examples like this go for around £60-80 . There was one sold in auction earlier this year that made around £80 that was the same maker but had the rat tail drop . If I find any other sold examples from this maker sold recently I will let you know

I know what you mean about the cabinets but there’s a few I go to and the coins and banknotes fly out of them and they are shit grade I can do better coins at better price would be selling while I’m not there but yea that’s what I wanna do in futer I hope you’ve not been listening in to my thoughts that’s the plan but don’t tell the others lol got a rate good plan will be the best but it’s b road not a road slow and steady
