Well done for your efforts another fantastic comparison video In the daytime I thought the exynos is better and more saturated but Snapdragon still winning on zoomed in shots with details on the night was a bit of a mixed bag sometimes better on exynos with more realistic coulours sometimes better on Snapdragon with features and sharpness I'm still happy with my exynos!!
Thanks for watching as always! I'm still happy with mine witfor the majority of things. A bit of camera lag when opening/closing recently but other than that it's all good for what I use it for 😎👍
Great to hear! Sadly there was no camera update to either phone this month but will still do a benchmark video and see if there have been any improvements there
I just wanted to thank you a lot for the great efforts you make every month to test the difference between both versions I'm in a region where Exynos only are sold and thought that there were a massive difference between it and the SD888 (which I was thinking of going through the pain of ordering from USA) but after watching your videos I'm actually a bit relieved and you certainly made it easier for me to decide, surprisingly the Exynos is better in a lot of areas. thanks again for the great efforts.. really appreciated ❤️ definitely Liked and Subscribed 👍🏽
Thanks very much, glad you've found the videos useful. Indeed there difference between the two is quite minimal and improved a lot over the months. Sadly no new camera updates since July but if they update again I'll be sure to make a new comparison. If they don't then I'll be comparing them to the S22 when that comes out 👍 Thanks again for watching and for the sub! 💚
For a while they looked identical but there is a difference in the colours. Exynos is cooler and the Snapdragon is warmer. Without comparing them I'd probably never notice though. Both are very good. I'd be happy with either.
Fantastic comparison...I just subscribed to your channel because of all the effort that went into videos like this...you deserve more subscribers... Great job! I have S21 plus Exynos and I'm happy with cameras...they could improve especially indoor but I'm glad to see they are working on making them better...
On normal non-zoomed images, and videos, they look equally good with some slight differences in tone and colours. However, the Snapdragon still wins in details of far-away objects. That's the last thing Samsung needs to fix for Exynos.
Good comparison mate , Thanks for posting . i wish we could have some of your 30c days here in the southern down under , winter and 10c everyday is really wearing really thin 😀 . Looking at the two galaxy’s to my eye the exynos seems to win more points , some of the snapdragon imagery was very average on occasion ,its hard to understand why Sammy did not also update the snapdragon variant. Cheers.
Thanks very much. It actually got too hot and it was declared a heatwave so I actually was stuck in the house for a while as it was too hot to go out 😅 Hopefully the Snapdragon will get a camera update in August and we'll see some improvements 👍
I personally prefer the softer detail but I can see pros and cons for both. Thankfully I don't imagine many people would be zooming in that much during videos anyway
@@AndroidAddicts Ah i see. Personally I have the exynos variant and after watching your video, i'm happy that this year version can catch up with the snapdragon variant. BTW nice comparison man, i really like your video 👍🏻

Clearly both went back and forth , but i would have to disagree with your claiming the snapdragon as being superior , at times it was very very average although at times it was also very good.
I use the Exynos as it's my local country's phone which I pay for on a monthly contract with Samsung. The Snapdragon I prefer to use for recording my RUclips videos so hence why I don't use it as a daily phone (or I'd just fill it up with my WhatApp database and images which is around 50GB 😅)
@@AndroidAddicts Thanks too much. I hope Samsung stop shipping two different variants and resolve the problem of updating delay, imagine that I have not received the June and July updates for my S21 ultra so far!

Snapdragon video in daylight looks better but at night it's worse to the point it looks like it may be a different camera module I don't know what's going on there

Hey, Android Addicts, in this video were you using the EIS in camera settings (Video Stabilization)? or you just have it turned off and relying fully on OIS? cause for me (Exynos Variant) when I turn on video stabilization, video quality goes so bad in all modes, and object inside the video keep on shaking like crazy as if they are vibrating (this is way more obvious at night video) but with EIS turned OFF, everything looks normal. (On May update here still btw). hope you can reply to me if you have a minute! thank you for the video.
I do have Video Stabilisation on yes and don't seem to experience what you're describing. You could try clearing the data for the Camera app in app settings and see if that helps. It'll just reset the camera app to defaults. Sometimes this can help between updates (it did with my S20 Ultra)
No the Snapdragon doesn't have better battery life - but not by a huge amount. I did a battery drain test a couple of months back here: ruclips.net/video/JHvjwZlrIp8/видео.html
That's why the mi 11 ultra smashes the 21 ultra, it uses 50 MP for all its camera so the image hardly changes from each lens. The ultra wide and any zoom on my exynos is unusable in any dark scene. Samsung has always done this with every phone.

A miracle has happened. In low light Exynos seems better than SD.
I'd actually agree and say it's better with normal video and 3x video. Also better at 10x zoom photos compared to the Snapdragon 👍
@@AndroidAddicts really, unfortunately the ultra wide that owed a little
Whilst the Snapdragon is noisier at night it is also pulling more detail. The exynos noise reduction is more intensive
It is indeed, Exynos smooths way too much at night but the less noise in the video makes it look better at 1x and 3x

Can you do a battery test to asus zenfone 8 like you did to the galaxy s21 and also a temperature
Alot of frame skipping and jittering 🤔 since the price dropped drastically is it worth it to buy the s21 plus for 330$ in 2023?
