Shannon Rebecca I love the planner craze too and I enjoy watching all these videos!! Unfortunately I can't spend 100$ just for a planner (including shipping to Europe where I live). Then you also need stickers and all that cute stuff..! Uh! Maybe someday when I'm rich! haha!
maikolosav I can't afford it either but I've kinda replicated it with cheaper alternatives - the videos are good inspiration though! I'd love the real thing though, when we're rich like you say! 😂
Shannon Rebecca There really are tons of cheap planners and stickers as well. In fact, even rich people that have never used a planner would be better to try a cheap alternative for a few months and then upgrade if it is something they want. Also there are a couple videos on how to take cheap planners and make very cute planners from them. I will see if I can find the one I am thinking of and post.
Jenny X Found the series I was thinking about. Do a search for "planner on a budget" and coupontoprovide had some really cute ways to make over a really, really cheap planner. No its not an EC but it still makes a useful planner and many of the EC ideas could be used in it.

I've been super inspired since. I bought myself a few nice scented candles, learned how to do my eyeshadow, and I've started planning!

I love my make up bag from your shop too, it has so much space to put everything. When you brought out the white out I laughed remembering how long it took us to find it in the store. This video was right on pint with everything loved it!
Has anyone else noticed that both Scribble Prints Co and The Reset Girl have temporarily closed their shops due to overwhelming orders?? I would bet its because of Elle's videos! I think its cool that other small businesses are getting more attention because of her videos :)

Actually Scribble Prints is closed because they're making the switch to a ready to ship shop instead of printing orders as they get them. They had to close in order to make the transition.

@jerseygirl4ever87 the shipping is actually really great, especially for a personalized product. The disclaimer on the site when I ordered said things wouldn't ship until July 2-6, but I got an email yesterday saying it was ready to be shipped and it's coming tomorrow!
Samantha Morgan Webster I ordered June 9th! And it didn't say that when I ordered.... they just sent out an email stating they were behind in production.. people ordered these planners a month in advance and still don't have them.
***** yeah I'm very upset that means I won't get my planner until the middle of July probably. I can't track my order and I can't get the status of it. I emailed them twice with no response.

I have always used planners as a way to keep myself organized and I have just recently been introduced into decorating planners and I can honestly say I am completely obsessed!

I love the planning videos ! So many people rely on their unreliable electronics. And it's awesome seeing so many people getting creative instead of button pushing. I use a Franklin Covey Harper in lavender and love it. They have stepped up their game in colors and options here lately.
I have been off of RUclips for a while and just recently started researching on planners to try something new out for this school year and sooooo excited to see you are back and Glitz Planning! It's great to see you back. Thank you for your ideas and inspiration.

Great video! I love the idea of planning with stickers. I've always used planners and just color coded everything. I had no idea this planning community with stickers and washi existed! I use the Plum Paper planners and love them!
I've recently gone back to my day planner. I tried using my iPad mini for a while but couldn't use it as easily so I've gone back to this. I have to say that my all time fav pens are the Pilot Frixon pens because...you can rub them out if you make a mistake. I hate my stuff being messy and so these are a god-send and they come in a great range of colours and even highlighters now. LOVE them.
Best thing ever that I've found recently getting back into this...that white out tape now comes on colours and patterns. Like washi tape but way lighter. It's so cool! It's new though so it's still hard to get stuff, there isn't even a lot on eBay yet. :(

For me, an essential must-have is notepads! Especially on days where I have a pretty lengthy to-do list, I always use a cute notepad to write down all the little things I have to do so I don't forget!

I love your planner videos! I would also include that your planner is used for however you would want to use it so there isn't a wrong or right way to use it, it's just paper! I did a video on mine but I mainly use the monthly views so I use the daily view as a gratitude journal :)

Thumbs up for more planner videos! I just purchased my first Happy Planner (from Create 365) and can't wait to receive it. It seems like a cute and creative alternative ($25) to the Erin Condren planners, although I do LOVE everything Erin does! :) Emily Ley is another planner favorite...she has the cutest gold corners and polka dot patterns. xo

Love this! Just bought my first Erin Conden.
Cute paperclips and binder clips are must-haves for me! I like to clip older and future months together so its easy to get right where I need to be. Also sticky notes like the ones from Target dollar spot. I like to use them to jot down dates and to-dos to add to my planner later. I'm a filofax girl, so for other ring-bound users, those little hole sticker things, a hole punch, and a paper cutter are also must-haves!
i love these planner videos! they are my favorites
what helps me plan better/easier for the weeks is having additional small cheep planner that i can jot down things that im going to be doing for the weeks ahead and then when i go to plan with stickers im not trying to guess what im going to do. such as TV show premiers, weddings, birthdays, pre-planed date nights, vacations, work events, ext.. just makes you less likely to forget things. Hope this helps new people joining the planner family!

Elle, a good idea would be you going to the Dollar Store, Target or Walmart and looking at the different planners that they offer and doing a review on them for those of us who think that $50+ is just way too much to spend on a planner but would love to start the whole "Glam Planning" trend. My pilot frixion pens are everything! They are eraseable, but write very well, so you have the best of both worlds.
