With great content and long videos means there is a middle ground. This will be the area where Cars & Cameras will shine more than it ever has before. I know you guys will find that perfect balance of "not to long or not to short". I gotta say the crew is awesome but special thanks to John for all the hard editing work and pushing this channel. Without that you have nothing. And to Ike and Charles I say keep up the superb on camera persona and tutorial knowledge. With all of you combined, the mini-bike and go-cart world can NEVER stop you. An old engine builders trick taught to me back late 70s is to always take a new camshaft and very carefully remove the sharp edges using a sander, grinder or file to a slight bevel otherwise the machined edges often cut into the lifters or pushrod tappets causing premature wear which also accelerates the camshafts wear as the fine metal particles get between the hard facing of the shafts and lifters or tappets or valves depending on which type engine one has... Go slow and carefully until you have the slightest chamfer on BOTH sides and 360 degrees around each lobe.. Same goes for the cut or ground ends on rings, barely sand the ends that you've filed for proper ring clearance/gap before installing,AND ALWAYS use assembly lube or cam break in lube on every single rotating part everywhere throughout the engine.. Including valve stems, valve stem seals, all bearings, nothing installs dry...

Summary: I certainly enjoyed the longer format as none of you seemed to be rushed and seemed to be having more fun, which is what it's supposed to be all about after all.
You 3 guys never fail to come up with unusual ideas for content. In this particular vid it had a been there done that before feel to it. However once y'all get to tossing your project ideas around and tackling them then this new longer format will really shine. People don't always dig having projects broken down into a couple or three episodes generally speaking. There are exceptions to that but overall I look forward to the next creative build and seeing it happen start to finish in just one episode.
If that can't happen once a week then 15 min here on this, 30 min here on that will suffice...as long as it flows into a finished product.
One more thought came to mind. Y'all have ALOT of former projects sitting around all over the place. I'm sure many are gone and no longer exist. I'd like to see one episode of all the completed projects that you kept and still have on the shelf. Maybe line everything up and do a start up of all machines and let's hear them all running at once. Then have at it and blast them all around your track. Have somebody else film and all 3 of y'all ride something from the past at the same time. Not necessarily a race but more like continuing action one after another non stop all 3 guys at once just making laps
One more idea is more drag racing. At the track and dare I say on the street. If not on the actual street then it's time to build a side by side 330ft (1/16) mile track there at the house. Must run 2 side by side too, not just against the clock. Dirt drags at home could be a huge thing.
See y'all on the next one!

For someone who hasn't worked on a lot of engines this video is perfect. Just like looking over your shoulders as you explain what your doing. The video length was necessary to explain everything. The cocktail oil mix was funny. Maybe It would be possible to have the Mixologist stop by again with tips and tricks. May I suggest that you purchase Issac his personal gurney so he has an in house recovery place. Maybe better if it was mounted on a dedicated vehicle so he could be recovered more easily from the crash location. Wonderful video as always. Thank you.

    Talking of wide open throttle…
When we were kids we used to help out my uncle with his stall at motorcycle shows and my cousin took his minibike to ride around, after some tinkering to get it started he got it running but it was stuck WOT and my cousin (around 7-8yr old) was heading for a row of very expensive vintage bikes!!!
At the last second my uncle managed to grab the handle bars and yeet the bike up in the air and avert a disaster. Good times 👍🏼

My thoughts shall be listed here: I very much so enjoyed the great quality of the video I don't love the huge length vid maby a little shorter because I know for me and others it is difficult to sit down and watch over an hour of content because our schedules don't allow for it. I do like the fact that you guys got more enjoyment out of making the video because who cares about the quality of the video if the video itself has no life to it if you can just tell that the creators are just doing it because they have to not because they want to. I am happy with the fact that you are making this change for yourself because while many will be upset the true viewers and the people who have been watching for a long time will support your decisions especially so you don't get burnt out. So all in all I don't have much bad to say maby a little bland but I think that's because of the type of video it was being that it was more of a engine build/ "tutorial". So keep up the good work and do what is best for you not just the viewer.

So first off I want to say I absolutely love you guys and your videos! They have helped me out a ton while I have gotten into this hobby so thanks for all the great content over the past 6 years or more!
You asked for criticism so I will give you my two cents! I would love for you to upload your videos in the morning so I can watch them through out my day at work. Watching an hour and half video after I get home from work can sometimes upset the wife! The length wasn’t bad since you guys covered a lot in the video! The one thing that distracts me in your videos is all the extra stuff you have laying around the shop! Sometimes it makes it hard to focus! There was a bird house on a shelf randomly in this video and your new video that kept getting my attention. I know you have a lot of projects going on but it would be nice if the back grounds were a little less distracting! I would also love to see the go power sport showcase make some more appearances. Other than that great stuff and can wait to see this 450 mower finished!

Funny story I have with the throttle wide open. I was putting around on a new to me motovox with a Predator 212 with a stage 1 kit. The previous owner couldn't get it to run right. I checked it and all it needed was the lifters adjusted. I was riding through some saplings on my property, I was going to turn around to see how it could climb. It had power and I was always careful with the throttle because I had the front wheel lift up when I didn't want it. All of a sudden it it went full throttle and the front wheel was off the ground. I remember rolling the grip forward to bring it down. It came down and I was going straight to a tree. I just thought to lay it down so I leaned it over and tried to get the left foot peg into the soft dirt. I missed the front tire with the wheel but the front right foot peg was broken off, the pull rope housing that I just repaired was smashed in and my right tibia, at the top, hit the tree. I rolled out and thought I had to shut it down before it drove off but the low oil sensor shut it off. I found my glasses, got my bearings and looked to see why it tried to kill me.
A small stick, the width of a pencil, went between the pull start housing and gas tank and pinned the throttle lever back. I had to call my wife to tell her I think I broke my leg and needed a ride to the hospital. I had to have surgery to put in plates, screws and wire to let the tibia heal up. Your wide open throttle recommendation is very real and dangerous. It has earned the nickname "Bone Breaker"
