Zoids, is another awesome find, there were a few different TV shows based around them. I'd keep your eyes out for Liger Zero (lion stylized robot) it was the franchises iconic zoid and is one of the most recognizable.
Vicki is already a valuation expert. A toy specialist would help only on things that are so rare they don't come to market regularly. Lego, Jurassic Park and Zoids are auctioned often enough that the true value is there to find. She knows that if she can't find the value that it must be rare.
@@johnnyfortycoats2219 there is money to be made even on toys that are not rare. having a toy specialist around and also out and about finding and buying for the business could be quite profitable.
@TheKilla063 the irony in you complaining about how people raise their kids to be untrustworthy yet online on youtube you yourself choose to be recognized by the name 'the killer'. do i really need to explain this?
I found these old 1970s Micronauts toys at the Goodwill Outlet bins. A complete Microtron in box, a complete Hornetroid, 2 empty boxes and various random pieces from other models. I estimate around $200 in Microtron toys. Paid only $2 for the lot.
Great video Pete, Over the years i have learned more and more about toys and i give all of the credit to numerous channels on youtube and my trusty handbooks , Yes i said book lol, i found that actual buyers guides (Books) give me the most details and info, when you look a toy up online it doesn't give you the details regarding if the toy has multiple variations or what not and that could be a huge benefit because some toys have multiple variations and some of those variations could be way more valuable. Thanks for sharing Pete great buy, CHEERS.
That toy is V1 ( 1 of the 5) from the 70's Japanese Cartoon. The pilot of V1 is named Steve Armstrong. The series is on RUclips titled Voltes V ( V means Five).
Hi Pete, thank you for your content. I really enjoy it and have been taking lots of notes. I'm new to reselling, but have been learning the ropes and getting sales in pretty stable. Just got an Ebay store set up recently. I source in bulk. Picked up 400 universal remotes for dirt cheap, we will see how they go. Saw them and remembered one of your videos. Couldn't pass em up. From one slav to another, thank you! Spasiba!
Wow I can't believe you found one. That jet (the head) is part of a whole big robot assembly. 4 yrs ago I sold an almost-complete set with box although worn out (missing some missile, sword is a bit faded too.) not in a good condition, just ok condition for $760 via auction. So, for that head alone is actually a good price. Its approximately 18 inch tall when assembled. According to the owner it was bought in Asia back in '79 this set is rare in US because the one distributed here is a lot smaller.
Correct. The v head is complete with the original package and hand written receipt. Found in a brown paper bag at an estate sale. The paper bag felt like a crunchy bag of potato chips. That Jurassic park truck sells for cake alone. That is why you see all the grown adults looking for toys at the thrift stores.
Great video I appreciate all the information you put out also that's a real nice GT bike towards the beginning of the video that you have in the background
The Zoids have tiny guns and things that are often missing, or get swapped around between different sets. The best thing is to take photos from every angle so the buyers can check every little piece for themselves.
I've sold hundreds of toys and have done really well with them. Especially if I break them down and just sell the parts. For example, I sell Barbie clothes on one auction and the Barbie doll on the other auction. Or if it's a toy plane, I'll sell the propellors seperate from the body.
Some really cool stuff there Pete!!! Toys are one of my favorite things to sell because many don’t have knowledge In that field and there is definite money to be made. Thanks for the video!
I had Zoids when I was a kid, and when I was a kid they were still collectible. I think at one point, a fast food restaurant had cheapo toy ones in their kids meals too.
It can be really frustrating to sort and try to complete sets, but people do buy incomplete sets and broken pieces for decent money, if it is the right toy.

Pete, at 17:18 in your hand is a Lord of the Rings The Fellowship of the Ring Toybiz Electronic Sound & Action CAVE TROLL 12" Action Figure. Came originally with the Hammer in the right hand and a trident spear in the left hand. In the box they easily sell for $60-$70 range. In the condition you have yours, apparently missing the Trident, they could sell on the $30 range. If your store is enabled for other countries, the market for this in UK and Euro zone is bigger. BTW, I still have about 5 of my Matchboxes from 50 years ago and all catalogs from 68-78. I was absolutely addicted to matchbox :-)

Thanks for another great one pete. I have also been learning about toys. Freakin unbelievable the prices for some of these toys. I also have another question for you that goes back to the vid you did a couple of months ago or so about paying up a little bit for items to resell. You asked people to share about items they paid up for. I also asked this on the auction professors facebook group so I will copy & paste here. Thanks for another great vid and for the many hours I've spent watching you. 14 years selling on ebay and I'm still learning. I'm also a member of the auction professor and I asked this question there & 2 people suggested I ask you. So I will copy & paste the question here. I would like to ask your advice or anyone else who has some knowledge on film camera's. I bought this pentax 645 camera, the case and extra's in it for 200.00 in as is condition. Took excellent care of his camera's.This 1 is mint except for a few scuffs on the bottom. He put the camera away about 10 or 12 years ago in excellent working @t would not power on when taken back out to prepare for sale after he passed. When I researched it I found that this is a known issue for this camera & there were several suggestions on possible self done fixes.I put a value on the camera of 700 to 1000.00 if completely working correctly.Figured I could play around with it and if worse came to worse I could take it in and have it repaired Even if it cost me another 200 I'd still be good. No luck on the self fix and here is where I ran into problems. These need to be worked on by approved repairers & there are none around here who will touch it. I looked online & there is all kinds of stuff on it ,a lot of complaints about different camera repairers etc. I'm not sure & confident about sending it to anyone that I've seen so far.Just wondering what you would do or what advice you might be able to give me. Are there any camera people that you know of etc.? I have pics of the camera but I don't think I can post them here. It also came in a case with some vtg film ,some accessories and a cheaper fisk eye. I should also note that the lens that came with the camera should get about 200 by itself so there's no question I can get my 200 back but I really like the idea of somehow getting it repaired and listing it for 999.99 or best offer and seeing what happens. Looks like You have some old cap guns or water pistols there. BE CAREFUL eBay considers them "Replica Firearms" I got suspended for it a long time ago. You're supposed to glue an ORANGE cap on the barrel (electrical wire nuts fit good). And yes it has to be ORANGE. I got a warning on one with no cap. Then I had one listed with a red cap, and that's when I got suspended cause it was my second offense.
THEY ARENT GODZILLAS. THEY ARE MORE LIKE LOWER END GUNDIMS. BUT IF YOU HAVE GODZILLA STUFF IT SELLS FAST REAL FAST.. ALSO PETE THE FIGURE YOUR HOLDING UP AT 18:17 THE RED NINJA FIGURE IS A SUPER HUMAN SAMURI ALSO KNOWN AS GRIDMAN IN JAPAN SELS FOR ABOUT $45 BUCKS.
Pete, I'm on the verge of selling on ebay full time, but before I quit my job I have a concern...What if ebay closes my account? It happens all the time for sometimes stupid reasons (according to the horror stories). My question is, If ebay (or paypal for that matter) closed your account, what would your backup plan be to unload your inventory? Would you be screwed? Im just worried I could be put out of business by one mystake. How do I have peace of mind with this? Thanks allot!
You can sell on Amazon and Mercari. Also sell locally or at a flea market. As long as you're doing everything right, you shouldn't worry about eBay or PayPal shutting you done.
Don't sell counterfeit name brand goods or restricted items (like medical devices) and you don't have to worry much about getting shut down. I've had several items removed by eBay for various reasons over the years and as long as you don't try to relist them, eBay isn't going to shut you down for an occasional mistake.
@TheKilla063 I'm already selling my dude. I'm talking about walking away from my job and relying on Ebay as my full time income. But you're right, that will take balls because it's scary to put all your eggs in the ebay/paypal basket. I sell on Amazon too but most people (including me) rely heavily on Ebay. So if that goes away for any reason, I'm in trouble. Know what I mean?
I think the loose gray pieces on the table behind her were the ones to finish snapping the tail together on the blue dinosaur.

The jurassic park is better sold separately they can each fetch $15-30 each. Awww man your killing me. The jumbo Raptor is $40-50.
In the UK first gen transformers are hot if you spot them sell sell sell lol

If you are worried about this you are not ready
@@ChaseLightning100 Gee, thanks for the insight.
I would spend 200 on that jp lot
Some toys do well others not so much vintage tonka does't do what it used to
