I love your video and thanks for the update. I never experienced thinning until I got sisterlocks. I think sisterlocks consultants should really speak to clients that have a looser curl pattern and possibilty of thinning. I am really seeing a correlation. I believe people with this curl pattern should be educated on a different way to take care of their locks. First you MUST have a loctician that is going to TAKE THEIR TIME with your re-twists. I definitely could relate to you with a hairdresser that moves quickly and is pulling all your hair out at the same time. Second my new growth hair was growing outside my loc and I don't think it was ever moved inside my locks causing the locs to get thinner and thinner. Lastly the longer my locks got the HEAVIER they got which really put pressure on the base and with them being so small they couldn't take the weight. I ended up cutting them short and I think I'm going to start over with microlocks and make each lock bigger. It's definitely a journey...I love my locks but I have learned some hard lessons that have lead to major thinning during this 5 year process. Please keep the videos coming..I love them.
Freelove74 I know what you are talking about. And after all this time they should have definitely figured something out for the looser curl patterns like ours. Not all hair textures can take that fast speed. And also the tools need to be updated as well. I have no idea why they haven't been updated??? But you can update these new positions to make more money such as ambassador's. Really? Come on now. smh I love them as well. But if it get's too crazy for me I may be going down the same path as you. I'll be dropping another video today. Business has been picking up for me so I've been busier than usual. And thank you for your comment. Hope are apart of the LocStar Family! =)
