I'm a Gem moon married to a Gem moon and it's such a good relationship! We both have amazing balance with our time apart and time together (for the most part anyways). He's a lot more emotionally stable than I am though, his other placements affect that for sure.

Will I just wanted to say that i love your videos. I am a Gemini sun and moon (very frustrating at times) and I feel like most of the things you said were true. Although many Gemini moons I know (including myself), actually need a lot of alone time already because the energy is so intense that it burns us out and we need to recharge ourselves, I'm constantly needing to be alone to recharge and I met some other Gemini moons that are like this also :) Thank you for your videos

I am a libra sun, gemini moon, and taurus rising. My sister is a gemini and my mom is a scorpio. She has a different relationship with my sister than me. My sister will talk and talk and not really have a filter. My mom can be very blunt when she talks but is also a VERY emotional person, though is sometimes reserved. When my mom and I talk, we can really talk on a deep and profound level. I have never really been able to reach that level with my sister but I enjoy talking with her about other things or just if I need someone to talk to. Sometimes I actually find it really comforting to talk about my emotions to my dad who's a virgo. Virgos are great listeners and will listen to you talk and talk and really try to have an understanding for what you're feeling. I haven't looked at anyone else's charts but my own (I should do that) but I find it all so fascinating :)

I am a Lunar Gemini, and I wanted to respond to your question about my mother and her influence on me and my life! My mother is a Taurus, and she was a huge huge influence on my life. She was a HUGE business person...She was actually the very first female loan officer in New Jersey. I'm a Pisces Sun, and I always say things like, "My mom gave me my back bone... I don't know what I'd be without my mom... Her Taurus influence has made me who I am..." So, my answer to you is YES YES YES... Wow!! What an astounding astrologer you are, my friend!! I mean that very sincerely. I actually have my Moon in Scorpio, but it is in the Third House of Gemini, and I have my Midheaven in Gemini. Also, I guess I never fully realized that since your Moon represents your mother, both of my parents and my son are Gemini Risings so that makes total sense. Even though I am very emotional because of my Scorpio energy, I have more air than anything in my chart, and am always trying to figure things out in an analytical way. The good thing for me about having so much Scorpio energy combined with the Gemini, is I wouldn't say I brood as much as Scorpios can. I move on from setbacks pretty quickly, which is a positive. And I can talk about feelings all day long, it is my favorite thing - relationships and emotions. :)
About my mom:
My mom is brilliant. She is bubbly, very talkative, and a writer. She’s an artist of many trades. I'm a Cancer sun sign and I have a Gemini moon sign. My mom wasn't necessarily like a Gemini. She did talk a lot on the phone but the majority of the time she was quiet around family members. My mom is a Sagittarius and I didn't necessarily have the best relationship with her. She is a very overly positive person, she didn't really like to communicate with people but she really loved to gossip. I mean maybe there are elements of Gemini in my mom but I wouldn't necessarily describe her as that. Not sure but this video was really nice and calming in a connective sense the pauses really showed that you wanted to transition those thoughts into clever simple words. Very rare to see that, but an interesting perspective on the description of Gemini moon.

I understand now that it's probably my air sun and air moon which genuinely makes me forget my physical needs: I forget to eat and to sleep a little too often! In the opposite effect, when I FINALLY get to sleep, I can sleep like nobodys business (probably the Pisces rising). I do love writing/playing music (guitar,piano,banjo,harmoica) and art/drawing etc. I love to help solve peoples problems, it feels therapeutic to me. It's like I'm (re)experiencing a different outcome of a situation, at times instinctively knowing the better course of action, often shining new light on unknown ones (I feel anyway, not that I'm a know-it-all!). I'm always moving my fingers too haha

Mum question: I get along with my mum better than my other two siblings do, we are more alike. We talk for hours and hours. She loves to write, has many notebooks and diaries, very funny, tons of energy, stays up way too late like me haha.

My mom was a Virgo Sun, Pisces Moon. She had so many notebooks, like I did and still do. Was youthful and excitable, wanting to do & be all things but was prone to burning herself out. I'm a Cancer Sun, Gemini Moon. She always read with me and pushed me to read and write from a young age. Really reinforced my learning, she wanted me to be smart and succeed. My mom had a large impact on who I am for sure, I'm not as impulsive and keen to rearrange the living at random every couple of weeks like she did though lol. I have fidgety hands, I flap or shake them when I get excited, can't help it lol. Am always looking for something to keep my hands busy, I have a tendency to pick my skin >.< Am also looking to keep my mind busy at all times as well, love to draw, write with a show or music on in the background. My mind just wants to be multiple places at once all the time and my days in terms of emotions are absolutely a roller coaster.

My mom studied Literature, she teaches, likes talking, likes telling you about what she has read in the newspaper or wherever, so yes, she likes communication quite a lot!

I'm a Libra with Scorpio rising and a Gemini moon. The interesting thing about my mother is she's a Capricorn with Aquarius rising and she was always working and always on the move. I enjoy your videos. Per your question, I definitely see a lot of gemini traits in my mom. She is an aquarius sun w/ a very tight uranus opposition (less than 1"). I have a gemini moon also with a very tight uranus opposition (also less than 1"). We are both very "nervous" people with a lot of scattered energy that comes across as "quirkiness" I would say. My mom was not stable nor a typical nurturing mom type growing up. She was very unpredictable, moody and you never knew which side you were going to get. Hey Will! So.. My moon is in Gemini & in all honesty, I feel most challenged by this energy. I'm a Taurus Sun, Scorpio Rising so sometimes I just feel like a messed up kid! Haha but really, your description of a nervous energy fits me very well. Also, my nickname as a kid was Hyper Heidi & I'm known for being awfully cheerful. However, I think w my Scorpio rising energy, privately, I feel so conflicted about the deep emotions I have running through me & I'm not quite sure what to do w myself & those emotions. Hi Will, this was so useful, and I love listening to you in general :) A question if you have the time: I have Sun, Asc and Venus in Virgo, Merc in Libra, Mars in Scorpio and Moon in Gemini, and the latter might be the cause of my frustration...I'm in uni and I have an immense desire to excel academically and also a great love for my field but I have such a short attention span and it's devastating for my discipline, haha. Any advice for gaining more focus or using energies positively? THANK YOU

Hello Will, I'm watching you videos for the first time today. My moon is in gemini (Libra sun, piscies rising, mars & venus in virgo), and my mom is a librarian. I grew up running between the bookshelves of a lot of libraries, big ones, small ones, scientific ones, public, private... Mi mom is a gemini sun herself, with scorpio rising and aries moon (so, this is the next video I'm watching).
I've had a lot of trouble with my moon in the sense of being too analytical of my feelings, and having this weird ideas of how exactly one should feel in a determinate moment or situation, wich caused me a lot of despair and stress, because emotions don't do what ego says they should do. Also I discovered that some times I comunicate in order to take away power from my emotions and "drying them out", ending feelingless, and with a very deep shallow sensation in my chest.
I always felt my mom was under stress 24 four hours, she was always coming and going non stop, working 12 hours a day, going to university for a second degree... etc, etc.
I love her deeply, I feel I understand every little piece of her and respect all the effort she made in rising my brother, sister and me all by her own. We where always very close, and we talked about everything, we discussed very few times that I remember. She and I could always talk things through.

Our moons and ascendants match up, but I'm a cancer with a leo cusp. And I can testify a little bit for cancerians lol. We may seem a little closed off at times, but I don't mean for it to be taken personally most of the time lol. I believe more times than not, we just do it to protect our emotions and ourselves. I think if you talk to them enough and get them into a comfortable position, you could be surprised at what's held beneath the surface. :)
My moon is gemini, sun virgo. So the mercurial aspect is great. And it's expressed in my life greatly. Anyhow - to your question about the mother - my mother is the opposite. Her moon is in Taurus, sun in scorpio. Not sure if that has anything to do with it, but she was very uncommunicative (secretive actually). She would leave notes for me about issues rather than talking with me. She gave me a book on sex when I was younger, rather than explaining. (Though thats not too uncommon - it is very un-gemini-ish. I would overexplain it to my child through all sorts of mediums). She would avoid confrontation. She is an amazing woman, but we are very different. I don't see the gemini much in my mother

I found something interesting today (yesterday). I was born with Gemini sun, Leo rising, and Taurus moon, given birth by the c-section. I resonate with this energy, but apparently if I was to be born naturally, I would’ve had Libra rising, and Gemini moon, which pretty much changes my chart completely. I see both charts clearly in my life, it’s really interesting. I’m actually resonating more with my new chart 🤔🤷🏻♀️
I never realized this but yes my mother is a Gemini. I do write and I think I get it from my mom who wanted to be a reporter when she was young.

My moon and mercury are in mutual reception. My mother wasn't really involved in my life. She's was a capricorn I believe. All I remember is a very sad woman in a difficult situation. Maybe before her troubles she seemed more light hearted and full of life.....at least in photos. I think life and people were very overbearing for her. I was raised by my grandmother. She was a libra.....definitely a love hate relationship. Both moon and mercury are the 8th house....so I dealt with those sort of issues. Nice video though...I definitely can be neurotic, and I often run off nervous energy. I'm sensitive to electricity, use my hands when I talk, get bored easily, and often find myself w/ more than one opinion on a subject. Lol
