I think 2008 was Political voting at it's peak. Russia winning over Ukraine, Greece & Armenia? At least this year the best song still won.

For a few years the BBC have decided what the song is going to be without the UK doing a National Selection, but I believe that the NS is coming back next year :)

Moldova is in the Balkans and borders Romania. They speak Romanian (and it does have a name also sometimes known as Moldovian). It's capital city is Chišinău.

Please people, I know what Terry Wogan says is annoying but when I see comments like "UNITED KINGDOM SUCKS ANYWAY!! :)" it makes me sad because I don't say nasty things at all about any country and I LOVE hearing music from other countries, learning about your culture and language... not everyone in the UK is a racist...
