Azerbaijan and Armenia have been in a low-intensity conflict essentially since the fall of the Union over the province of Nagorno-Karabakh. Based on the footage from Iran, these this attacks may have been performed by an Israeli HAROP drone, which is used by both Azerbaijan and Armenia, although Iran has been supporting Armenia in the conflict.

Official Iran came out with very shady reasons for the attack. The tensions are extremely high now. Also, don't forget that in Iran there are 30 million azeris (Azerbaijani descend). Iran was never friendly to us (Azerbaijan). Meanwhile, Israel is a strategic-military partner of Azerbaijan and supports our territorial integrity since our independance.

Translating and distributing the bible is illegal in Iran yet they are allied with Armenia, the oldest christian country with like 97% christian population, whilst Azerbaijan, together with Iran is one of the only Shiite islamic dominated countries, yet there are tensions between them and Azerbaijan is backed by Israel😅. This is in part because there is a significant Azeri minority living in Iran which causes tensions. Lots of chaos in the middle east/caucasus brewing yet again…
The biggest loser is probably Armenia, if they weren't located in the Caucasus so close to Russia they probably wouldn't have been a member of CSTO even though it's pretty clear they aren't that fond of the organisation anymore. If anything they could probably be closer to NATO because the Armenian community in the US is pretty expansive and could create a strong lobby in the US government
Because ethnicity trumps religion. Azerbaijan takes more pride in their Turkic heritage while Armenia and Iran have been historic friends for even longer than Armenia's been Christian.
@@juch3 Yeah Armenia's situation is dire. More than people think. They bet on the wrong horse by allying with Russia, since Russia didn't honor their CSTO duties by helping Armenia. Armenia already asked Russia for help during the 2020 Nagorno karabakh war but Russia used the excuse of saying well Nagorono K is basically not Armenia anyway so we won't help, this already made Armenians mad but fair enough, then in 2022 Azerbaijan attacked Armenia proper and Russia still didn't do anything, completely neglecting CSTO (obviously Russia was busy in Ukraine at that point). Azerbaijan on top of that has warm ties with both EU and Israel, especially now that they can supply more gas to EU... In conclusion, Armenia can't count on either Russia or EU to help them against Azerbaijan/Turkey

You beat me to it!
To all those thanking Israel in the comments below, you're welcome! - I'm in Jerusalem and can confirm an unusual amount of jet activity overhead today, not sure if it's connected. In response to the Azerbaijan connection, it's well know that Azerbaijan allows Mossad to operate from it's territory. However I very highly doubt the attack came directly from there.
In the past Mossad has smuggled drones and other equipment over the Azerbaijan-Iran border, and then they plan and execute the attacks from Iranian territory.
Israel and Azerbaijan have been very close for decades. It's based on a history of over 1500 years of a Jewish community in Azerbaijan who have been treated very well by the Azeri's. We are very appreciative of Azerbaijan in Israel. In modern times Azerbaijan is Israel's major oil source, and Azerbaijan allows Mossad to operate out of Azerbaijan against Iran and sells Azerbaijan weapons. I'm not aware of weapon sales to Armenia, they're actually quite cross with us.

Israel doesn't particularly sell weapons, nor aide the Armenians. Azerbaijan is a crucial ally for a variety of reasons, namely that Israel (with a NATO greenlight) uses Azerbaijan to launch covert operations, surveillance and strikes, into Iranian territory. Furthermore, it helps push back against Russian expansionism on the Israeli border in Syria, and Iranian expansionism on the Lebanese/Syrian border. Armenia even recalled it's ambassador in 2020 due to Israeli arms sales to Azeris. (Also should be noted that Azerbaijan has a notable, millennia old Jewish community, and thus, there's also impetus to keep them as allies)
You talk about Iranian or Russian expansionism, how about talking about the most obvious expansionists - Nato/USA/Europe. Ukraine was & is part of Russia & Syria asked for Russian help hence Russia's involvement in Syria.
Nato/Europe/USA are the expansionists, you only have to look at Europe & Nato, they have lured former Ussr/Russian countries which had broken away after the collapse of Ussr into Europe & Nato when they had agreed not to expand Eastward.
@@MichaelThompson-jq3zf NATO only expands eastward because most of the countries in the former eastern block and USSR don't believe their territorial integrity would be respected otherwise, the invasion of Ukraine only proves that their reason for joining NATO is sensible.

Took with a bag of salt cuz the only point here seems to display your ability to match emojis with country names...
@bob And again, Israel sold the drone. Just like turkey sells theirs to Iran and causes actual death to innocent civilians, and every other weapons deal ever, Israel just sold it... Azerbaijan are the only culprit because Iran lead a terror attack on their embassy a couple days earlier.. Israel on the other hand, couldn't fly that even if they wanted to as it would barely reach 60% of the way..
Stop making shit up just because of your prejudice, and stop listening to AlJazeera for your info about Israel... Get actual info, research your shit before saying something stupid.. I'm on no ones side, but I don't jump into dumb conclusions because I'm an ignorant cnt who doesn't know how to do full both sided research before I make my mind up... Sheep...
@@bennyrich7361 then what countries would u chose 😂
ALBANIA FOREVERRR
My money is on Israel being the culprit. If I had a dollar for every time Israel has attacked Iran that we know of... I'd have like 10 dollars...
You'd probably have a Benjamin Franklin. They've committed plenty of assassination directly or indirectly in the borders of Iran alone.
Makes me wonder why Iran has never bothered delivering blow back.
much more buddy
It's can't be Israel alone. Israel is too far away. The range of the drone is too small to be sent from Israel to the attack location
Lovely... You know all info points at literally just one country, in no way shape or form Israel was able to do it from every way u look at it, but then you still want it to be Israel simply because of your prejudice... Lovely lovely stuff...
@@octillionZ they could probably launch it from a larger aircraft.
both sides? got them hook nose and sinkered
It's Some of these women pissed off about having to wear bedsheets! Ain't you been watching the news 🤣
However it could be any country I'm in Israel and there was a recent cluster of terror attacks including rockets and they suspected they come from Iran hours later and Iranian weapons facilities is blows up my guess is it's Israel striking back
@lunaticking but you know Palestine and Israel existed together at one point
Hey Ryan, a video of a Russian tanker barrel-sweeping infantry off the top of a BMP. Did you see this? Friggin squishy
Yes

Why can’t people just hang out and play golf or something… Humanity is legitimately insane
It would be attacked by who, not whom. Who is a subject, whom is an object. Iran was attacked by who.
Israhell...
Wars and rumors of wars.
The country Who Must Not Be Named" or "You Know Who," sounds seriously evil...
Iran: attacked by Israeli drone.
Midwits: “who could it be?”
If You Tube keeps up their 1984 approach to censorship, I'll be moving to the next streaming platform that remembers that I am an ADULT.
Are you, though?
Define "adult." does that entail screaming your beliefs, insulting without debating anyone who disagrees, and getting offended when someone presents facts that are deeply inconvenient to your narrative?
@@MrSlanderer please FO as you are looking for a fight.
