It really bothers me that a MOBA that was A. Willing to take risks with unique champion design (Abathur for example) B. Didn’t overemphasize arbitrary busy work (last hitting minions) and C. Was actually focused on helping your team rather than yourself (no difference in whether you got the kill on the enemy than if your ally got the last hit) didn’t catch on more.
Not to mention different maps with unique gimmicks. Sure, some were unorthodox, but it was better than playing the same 3 lane map every game like in most other MOBAs. Also forces people to pick different teams cuz each map has its own meta

Seeing the early Heroes of the Storm clips compared to later ones really shows how your style became less complex yet more polished over time. Jimmity Raynor also went through a few different designs as well but seems to have followed a trend of getting more derpy with every video he is in

The're not even bothering to remove ptr servers. while its been a year ago the last patch was and will be given anytime as long activition is active. You have hots and starcraft (starcraft still up today the biggest player base RTS) and they are just incompetent on how to make money and just totaly do nothing about those games, even though all they complain is making money is importand, though they can't seem to do it with a big player base in there hands. Instead there quite fan of harrasing woman that work for them and bullying away all the motivated workers that once had passion for their work.

Give the ppl 3-4 heroes a year. add a map every now and then and let people have fun. No need for overcomplicated balancing. No need for advertisement. I guess the "heroes of the dorm" campaign was their last ditch effort to market the game to a young audience and inflate that player base before HACKtivision pulled the plug on any HOTS competitions... Such a sad state of affairs, but i guess those poor corporate execs gotta make more money somehow...
This makes me so sad rewatching this. A great game infused with all the things that made Blizzard great, slowly picked apart, destroyed and then abandoned :(
