One of the weirdest matches of all time. Perfect definition of a roller coaster match. Davydenko was absolutely destroying federer for 1.5 sets, then his level comes crashing back down and loses 13 games in a row. 4th set was up and down as well for both players.
Classic, it was really an entertaining match..pins and needles time for Fed with his opponent fast start knowing also that Davydenko caught him last 2 times they played...👏👏👏 bravo Maestro!
Davydenko seemed unstoppable up until this point, he had just won the year end masters cup beating delpo in the finals and federer in the semis, doha right before AO 2010 and the shanghai masters at the end of 2009. Everybody thought he was going to beat federer once more this time but you must never underestimate someone as talented as him.
