Nadals forehand has one massive technical flaw which makes sense why he dominates on clay, his wind up is far to long and slow which works on slow surfaces but if the ball is coming at speed he has to cut it short leading to him hitting those moon ball unclean forehands

Davydenko seemed unstoppable up until this point, he had just won the year end masters cup beating delpo in the finals and federer in the semis, doha right before AO 2010 and the shanghai masters at the end of 2009. Everybody thought he was going to beat federer once more this time but you must never underestimate someone as talented as him.

I guess men's doubles like this is not popular with viewers on tv because the guys don't play dinglydonglypinglypongly like they do in singles. After all, four men volleying at top speed can't possibly be quite as exciting as 2 men hitting a 2,359-shot rally for six hours, can it?

Even tho he retired in winning form, i do think the reason he retired was just he couldnt compete with this era of tennis, not only with insane new peaks of defensive gets and shotmaking but raquet tech made passing shots harder to deal with and in rallies Sampras was no longer the only Athletic monster. Even if it was mid 80s grass theres no doubt in my mind he'd lose to Djokovic or Federer assuming both are at their best, he MIGHT beat Nadal but it wont be easy and hed have to redlining his serve

This got me thinking: I can think of three slams that only Serena could have stopped Sharapova from winning 05 and 07 Ausi and then the 13 French. I know there are others but just off the top of my head, all three of those Sharapova was playing great only to have Serena stop her
