    Makes sense on a technical level. I don’t know a whole lot about bikes, but I come from a musical background. A guitar amp with 100w will have more headroom, but a 50w amp will give you more gain. In the case of this bike, high headroom would be that 60mph setting, but that 39mph setting will give you more gain/immediate voltage.

    I have friends with Ariel Riders that I ride with, and I really like them a lot. I think If I had one, I wouldn't bother modding it. With your feet on the back pegs, almost all your weight is shifted to the back wheel, and it does not take much power to wheelie in that position. But on the other hand, I don't think your Jetson Bolt would be doing it that easily! Darn, now you've made me want to swap my brake levers and practice!

    If they had made a step through I would have bought that then the hyper Scorpion. That said I have had the hyper for 11months and no electrical problems 3500 miles and bike runs great. Surprised given all the bad comments I hear on line. The Areal x is power but at some point power is relative. For me the hyper is fine. I want acceleration in a tight spot on demand. You see to use the power to much drains the hell out of the range potential. Battery development must improve to make ebikes the game changer they can be.

    Hey Bry-Bro, Aerial Citizen Rider! I just purchased today the Grizzly, dual everything.
    Have you or will you be doing a test series? The Grizz had me at 2 x TRUE 1,000 watt motors, 110 NM each. This might be the Misstress Chaser. I bought 2 Himi's and have been introduced to Aerial thru you. I hope Aerial can ship a tester to you. 3,500 bux is not cheap.
    Dual everything is 2 bikes in one. Range, power, speed and pedals 7 speed, hydros.........
    Sorry man, I'm stoked to get mine. I'll stay tuned. RIDE ON! oh shiite, your subs have doubled. Congrats, my man!

    what's your take on the quality of aerial ebikes? I've been reading on complaints about them from the BBB and majority is mostly on quality of the batteries and customer service that if there's quality issues with them such as electronic issues, they are not responsive on resolving them? I'm now hesitant on purchasing them just because of lack of customer service. It's not a good idea spending thousands and if you have a problem, I hear you're out of luck. What's your experience and advice on them?

He's so happy about not spending money on gas too. I instantly thought I would like to see videos again on this bike or Juiced bikes. I am leaning more towards the Juiced Rip Racer so far. I like they have it in Class 3 too. We will see. As you pointed out in the video the price difference is not a whole lot. They want $1799 for the Juiced Rip Racer. I have thought about just making my own e bike with my Giant Yukon bike. I may just switch the back wheel for a 1500 watt motor wheel set and a 52v 20ah battery. Just one really serious question, how close to jail brings you that motorcycle on a bike lane? With over 30mph and throttle only you’re far away from everything that could be legal.
    I mean, it’s close to driving a car on a sidewalk.

    • @Knapweed
      @Knapweed 3 года назад +2

      My car will easily do 130 mph but it doesn't mean I have to drive it at that speed. If you drive an e-bike at more than 12 mph on the sidewalk, you're pushing your luck.

    • @Benjamin_Jehne
      @Benjamin_Jehne 3 года назад

      @@Knapweed Thats not the case, you can go 12mph with a motorcycle on a sidewalk, too. But you’re just not allowed to drive it there.
      The question is, how hard are the consequences, when they get you with one of these.
      Per defifinition, this thing is no class 1-3 ebike, so it’s a motorcycle.
      Here in Germany this would end in a lawsuit because of driving a motorcycle without a license plate and insurance. As you can’t register such a thing, you wouldn’t get any permit, so it’s an illegal motor-vehical. And if your younger, without a license for driving a motorcycle, it gets even worse. And yes, the bike is gone.
      If you’re in France, you’re facing a 20.000€ ticket and you‘re bike is gone, too.
      So, I don‘t know how it gets handled in the US, but this could end really worse.

    • @Knapweed
      @Knapweed 3 года назад +1

      @@Benjamin_Jehne I don't live in Europe, nor do I live in the U.S. I live in Canada. It's restricted to 20 mph when you get the bike and it has a throttle so, unless you de-restrict it, its a class 2 e-bike and legal to drive on the sidewalk, bike lane or the road (Not the Highway). The point is moot anyway as the maximum allowed power in Europe is only 250 watts, which is a joke unless you have a particularly torquey mid-drive motor. The 1,000 watt nominal power (2,000 watt peak) of the X52 would make the European authorities crap their pants. It's true that the maximum power in Canada is only 500 Watts but the authorities have better things to do than run around making nuisances of themselves and, providing you're not acting like a dick, they couldn't care less, hence don't exceed 12 mph on the sidewalk.
