This was Fly Fish Foods best ever podcast. As they said they are getting better. A lot of information packed in and it did not have Lance. Nice work boys!

Thanks guys! As a fellow serial hobbyist I related a lot when you said fly fishing is always the constant. I've tried a bunch of different things and they're fun for a while but nothing has ever drawn me back like fishing. Your videos, whether its the podcasts, lake days or fly tying always get me hyped to tie and fish. Thank you so much for your videos, knowledge and most importantly, your personalities. I watch plenty of fishing channels but this is one of the few I get excited to see a new upload from. Keep it up fellas!

Great podcast! Love to get to hear Joe’s thought process on design. Just recently picked up a 10’ 2Wt ideal nymph rod and it is the real deal. Completely blew my trusted 10’ 3Wt euro rod out of the water on every aspect (amazingly low swing weight, ultra fast recovery, precise casting of light nymphs with a micro leader, superior fighting strength and control over larger fish). Joe is clearly designing/thinking about these things on a higher level and diamondback is giving him the resources he needs to execute his ideas. Great stuff!

Great job guys - one of your best ! Nice mix of subject matter. Kudos on including some of Joe’s thoughts and often overlooked points of fly design. Obviously Lance has done a deep dive into Joe’s nymph rod designs. The fact he is fishing them in the worlds tells us a lot about the product.

I have a Ideal Nymph 10'10" 3wt, and Aeroflex 9' 5 wt. Joe's rod designs are superior. Not to mention, when I needed a replacement section on my ideal nymph, Joe went out of his way to ensure the replacement section was shipped prior to a Diamondback company event. This is customer service one would expect from Sage. However since Sage was acquired by far bank customer service has lacked. Not a dig on Sage. Just Diamondback set the bar higher. Completely sold on Diamondback products.
