I've been "solving" sudoku puzzles for years and have been using these methods as long. My first ever Sudoku puzzle was a little difficult - it was new, of course. They have gotten quite easy for me, now. However, I DO still have difficulties with trying to solve the "hard" or "difficult" puzzles. But, I never knew how each individual method has a name. I use PowerDirector editing software and it has tools to overlay circles, arrows etc. Its time consuming, but I find it helps in explaining the tutorials. That is for the Sudoku videos. For my Statistics and Excel videos I use Powerpoint to animate circles and arrows since I use those slides when I teach in the classroom. Hope that helps!
