Approaching 18 months with my 2019 facelift Mercedes C43 AMG I've been quite lucky in terms of having any 'issues' arise with the car - only really minor things and no big electrical faults or things like that! Even so, have any of you guys experienced any of the faults I've had so far in the last year or so?
Panoramic sliding sunroofs are always demons when it comes to annoying rattles but that was sorted with a pretty quick fix. Performance wise, no issues to report on there apart from 'maybe' some overheating but I doubt that's actually an issue, just some extreme cooling solutions implemented by Mercedes.

I have this 2020 C43 since last year April, now it is 13,600 KM. Today I have a horrible experience. While I was driving inside a small community road, road limit is 50km/h. While I was breaking at a STOP sign, suddenly the car lose power, I push gas paddle, it does not work and all the lights on the dash all light up. I urgently push the emergency light and pushed the TURNON button, it does not work. While I can still steer, the car moves by inertial, I pull the car beside, luckily not much traffic at that point. I break the car completely, and pushed the turn on button, the power is back, engine is on. Afterwards, I drove for about 20 minutes, so far ok. Called sales, they will arrange a service tomorrow. I am very scared, what if this happens on highway? Any one has same experiences, pls share. Thanks.

Hey mate, thanks for the video. I have a 2019 C43 as well and have owned one for 23 months. Just a few tips and comments:
    1. I've had the same driver side window issue. Took it to the dealership and all they did was reprogrammed the auto window. In order to reprogram, roll the window all the way up, then only hold the driver side window switch up for about ten seconds. Don't hold it all the way up - only the first click (semi-auto operation)
    2. Mate, I've had this car for almost 2 years and have driven it nicely and like a moron, yet the radiator was never on after I switched the car off. You should get that checked up ASAP as long as you're in warranty. Also, if I do ever drive in sports+ for an extended period of time, I drive around smoothly for about 10 mins and let everything cool a bit before shutting it off.
    Good luck man.

The proper way to shut off a turbocharged car is to actually let the car idle for about a minute or two once you’ve parked it to let everything cool, even then you’ll sometimes hear the fans still running afterwards

How was your c43 mate after 3 years now? Is it still running good or are there any things to take note?

shame Merc don't do a mid tier sports car like Audi have with the TTRS, a lighter 2 seater with the v6 would be epic !!

The Front CV axles are the weak points.
Vibration after cars warmed up, going up hills and around turns you'll feel vibration in the seats

Ive had the same window issue. And this was due to the outside door trim. Try pulling it up, then pushing the trim back down into position. I noticed mine had risen slightly and this was causing a slight pressure onto the window.

Yeah I was going to say this isn't a Mercedes specific issue I had a 4runner limited with the same kind of operation and I remember having this issue right after I got it tinted, and I noticed it only happened on my passenger window I checked it and realized the trim was a little bit messed up after the tint was installed, I repositioned it and never had any issues again.

I do get around 100C* after the car warms up and I'm just driving normally. During the summer, it will go up to 103-105 with normal driving. In general, it does seem like this car runs hot, but that doesn't mean anything unless we know for sure what the specific normal operating temperature for this car is.

I have a c43 coupe 2019, I have the same issue with the fans it’s quite annoying, no issues with cooling I’ll get out after a pretty normal drive with temps around 94 and I turn the ignition off and step out and the fans are going crazy. Did you sort this or is it something I have to put up with
