I own this LG Micro Hifi since 2008, These audio systems sound great with very cheap price. And I believe this is one of the best LG micro Hifi that they have ever collaborate with Mark Levinson. But, mine unfortunately, the dvd player and function button are not working anymore. But I like the speakers very much. I use both of LG FBS 163V speakers until now along with Yamaha Receiver HT-2071. One annoying thing that I found in these spakers is the audio cable connected to speaker permanently and it quite small for the speaker. I have plan to replace it with greater aftermarket audio cable. Do you have any idea how to open the speakers or release the cable for these speakers?
If your iPod isn't a higher model than the 4th generation and has a 30-pin Apple dock connector, it should work fine. Otherwise you can use the Aux input 3.5mm port.
