Controversial Opinion: This is the greatest Drop Tower in the world, yes better than any Funtime or modern Intamin Drop Tower. It has the most intense Freefall type feeling I have ever experienced, really the stomach drop was nuts. The sketchy nature of the ride and all of it's mechanics are absolutely hilarious, as you put it, you're getting entertained throughout the entire ride. The sketch factor scares the living shit out of you in the best way possible and even makes me, an experienced coaster enthusiast scared a little bit. I had the honour to ride it in October 2022 and I really hope these weren't my final rides. I really want to get back to this park and re-ride this a lot of times. I hope the Park maintains it well and they keep it around. This ride fits in this park perfectly and I cannot imagine this Park without it. 10/10 ride. Intamin you crazy fucks you did an amazing job when you came up with this device with all the goofy mechanisms.
Great and well made video! Looks like a fun ride! I think if it has 3 wheels per attachment part to the track then its a coaster. You said it does a full cycle like a coaster and yes it does. I really enjoyed watching this! I rode Tidal Twist 2 weeks ago as i said before and it was fun.
This is one of the ride I hope Movieland will NEVER remove, so iconic, so janky, so hystoric but at the same time very forceful and scary. great video as usual Nik, loved the italian memes!
I used to have Demon Drop and Test Track in my credit count like 7 years ago, but got bullied into taking the latter out so I dropped both. I was only in the 50's then and only reach 100 when I went to Europa Park 2 years ago (it was too cold to ride the water coasters even though they were open and I gave Baa Express a miss)
It's definitely not as powerful a drop as on Space Vertigo, but it offers much more that makes it quite unique, I think 🙂. As for Wolf Legend, I have a hard time seeing that as more interesting, if I'm honest 😅
@@NorthernRidesYaBoi Wolf Legend Is a complete ride experience. Great theming, a storyline, great soundtrack and great ride experience (for families). I find it far more interesting than Vertigo and the Hollywood tower. Those are just punch and finish
@@flipperion That's a great point! Although, as mentioned in the review, I definitely disagree that Hollywood is only punch and finish 😜 Wolf Legend does have a great thematic experience for sure!
@@NorthernRidesYaBoiI believe you mean not as punchy on the first ride. Because when that beast warned up i found it equal in force to Vertigo. Just much more interesting because of everything else!
I wouldn't consider it a coaster because of how you go between the tower and the drop. While it is uses coaster mechanics, these Gen 1 towers are their own thing like Basque or the Norristown High Speed Line (which isn't even actually high speed, its just a fully grade separated tram that may or may not go faster than the average tram and really only connects suburbs so no one really uses it because most people drive because its America even though Philly is an ancient city here)

I love your editing style so much. Probably shouldn't be called Northern Rides. should be... idk... Goofy Rides.

Thanks! Glad to hear Tidal Twister was fun!

I really hope Movieland keeps it around and they can keep getting replacement parts from intamin.
Thank you! I really hope it sticks around, as well

I'm sorry to hear you got bullied for it. That's really sad!
Others shouldn't bully you to change your mind. It's absolutely your own decision
@@NorthernRidesYaBoi maybe bully is a strong word, but in that direction yes
Its a nice tower. It goes up and it goes down. Not much to talk about compared to others (especially compared to the other 2 at Gardaland)

They're definitely a thing of their own!
I count them as roller coasters
For me it isnt super scary because of the heightm but because of how sketchy it is and looks.
Same!
I can see the arguments for it, but I wouldn’t count Intamin 1st Gen drop towers as coasters.
Totally fair!
