In this 3rd lesson of this series, we will create windows virtual machines on Google Cloud Platform in 5 easy steps. We will install windows 2012 server on this virtual machine.
This is a hands-on tutorial where we will create this virtual machine on GCP in a live demo.

Not sure if this changed recently (or if I've misunderstood) but it seems like windows servers cannot be run on instances if you are using free trial credits; you have to choose another option for your vm. Anyway really good video thanks 🙂

Hi. Once I try to connect to VM instances by typing the correct username and password, it connected it but show me just the administrator terminal of the instances instead of desktop. Why?

If you are pinging using gcp internal IP within ur gcp vpc n/w it shud work. If you want to expose and use it externally u need to first assign a public ip and then assositaed firewall rules

Thanks for demo, but Windows server creation is not free (Free trial) -Google says you have to enable billing.

Hi Devendra- On the Public images tab, choose Windows Server 2012 R2 Datacenter.
