    Really enjoyed this story, the narrator really drew me in with the descriptions and it made me wonder where I might go.

    Problem with time travel is that you move the time but not space. So, the location you time travel from has moved in space. Rotation of the earth. Movement of earth in orbit. Even if you time travel for 5 hours you'll stop in a different location.

    Question: What would he do with electrc devices back in the 1600's? There was no electricity to run them. (I'll bet we werent supposed to think about that incongruity LOL)

      If he can build a time machine then maybe he could build a dynamo generator with a bunch of copper wire and a bicycle. Although that would probably be a lot of riding to get up to 220v. Or...jump forward a little bit and get a diesel generator. But then where to get the diesel.
      Edit: actually an internal combustion engine running on ethanol would be the best long term solution. Ethanol was synthesized in 1826 so grab an appropriate generator in the 1930s when the story takes place, get the details on ethyl alcohol synthesis and equipment, then head back to New Amsterdam.

    Time is individual, at an atomic level, with its speed of flow dependent on each atom's own interaction with the space surrounding it.

    Hahahaha very conveluted, but in short story format it showcases a strong imagination and technique. So it is passable. 3/5.

    Dear Earthlings; something to consider.......
    A lingering question in my live is why so much information gets hidden and you be fooled not to think twice before asking the same question over and over again time isn't on my side. Now in the meantime there's a ton of this information stowed away in the Vatican witch also holds the key to unlock the passed and future of our civilization. So how can these entities have the audacity to do so isn't this leaning towards a criminal act? Now i can understand some information can end up in the wrong hands only this isn't the case here.When you can remember what happened in second world war you will understand where i am right and honesty is portrait in doing so to enhance history and put IT to use for the future. People are lame in doing so and leave things hanging thinking IT is alright I spit on those people not trying to open up those books searching the truth of our history we fail in every way to enrich ourselves in doing so.When you want to unlock the future you've gotta unlock the passed to be on the right PATH.
    Sincerely in motion pending;
    🤏 💣 Erik Boreel de Mauregnault. 💥 🤔
