Is there a way to configure the inverter to ignore the temperature sensor and run without it? I have the batteries charging on solar anyway so temp monitoring is more important for the charge controller, not the inverter.

You wouldn't want to do that because #1 ruin your battery or worst cause a fire because the battery got too hot.
