Metallica is my favorite band and they get so much hate because they do the same thing. They try different sounds. And I like them more for it. I just found Volbeat a few days ago. I have 7 songs on my phone already that I absolutely love. This song is one of them.
I don't understand all the negative comments wanting the old heavy volbeat and this and that. Can't we love both? Both are fantastic! I love the old gritty stuff but also love the positive vibes feel good stuff too! This song is phenomenal! Love anything volbeat does!
Thank you! Loving a band for their music is one thing but loving a band is another. All of it is so amazing.
I don't mind them putting this out and am not against people liking it, but it does sound a bit bland to me.
I feel like their previous slow songs (like for example "We" or "Cape of our Hero") had more of a way to stand out. This sounds (to me) like a generic pop rock/gospel song where Michael is invited as a guest singer.
That said, I'm a firm believer that we don't have to necessarily like everything our favorite groups put out, much less expect them to stop making the music they want to do. So, this song is not my cup of tea, but I wouldn't say Volbeat sucks now or they sold out.

How can you not love this song? It is so full of positivity for me and Stine Bramsens angelic voice compliments the song perfectly if you ask me.
Some might not like it, but I really appreciate Volbeat mixing up English and Danish Into the Song.
It works well for them. For Evigt is (for me) their stand out track, and over the years I've created several new Volbeat fans by introducing them to that song.. and more than one of us have made a point of learning the meaning of the Danish meaning as we sing along.

At first I thought, nah, this is too pop for me. Now I can't stop hearing this song, and love how the band is always looking at ways to share the spotlight with local singers. Stine's voice is amazing in this. Also, the fact that the new album is going to be much harder and darker than the last two albums, and this song is like the light at the end of the tunnel. This is the song I needed at this moment in my life.

Thought they were American for a while and started looking more into em. Kinda wish they blended English and Danish more in their songs the American influence is crazy but I appreciate not only the diversity in their music but also themselves, the duet with Stine was magical they work well together
