Applications for these universities open at the beginning of March and close on March 15th for non-EU students. So, let me explain in simple words: If I get admission in Estonia (for MS) and then the international student visa. So, will I be allowed to move to Estonia with my wife.? OR Should I have to get the work permit FIRST and then will be allowed to apply for a spouse visa for my wife.
The spouse can apply for temporary residence permit in case you have lived in Estonia based on temporary residence permit at least 2 years. You cannot bring your spouse if you have not lived in Estonia for 2 years based on residence permit. So let’s suppose you come to Estonia based on D Visa on 1st of September 2024 and here you get your temporary residence permit on 1st of October 2024. Now if you wanna bring your spouse to Estonia based on your residence permit then you can apply on October 2026 not before that. Hope that helps.
